  Secret signal to find each other at District Convention

  do you remember the "secret signal" that was going to be used?

  i talk to a lot of people about the watchtower because it comes up in conversation all of the time.. money eventually becomes a topic as it is a very wealthy corporation.. so the question is always raised and it is a good one, "who controls it?".

  people want to know "who has the power of the purse strings?

  " and quite frankly so do i.. there is someone behind the scenes who knows so much that the wtbts could never fire him or her.

  BotR - I agree totally. The GB are merely front men celebritites. They are as sold on all of this as the rest of the poor flock.

  There is a group of people who are probably not Jdubs reaping the benefit of this profitable business model.

  Oh, if only it would get exposed.

  The Seat of Motivation : The fake JW heart

  i realised the other day how weird it is that jw's are taught that the heart and mind are seperate.

  by enlarge the mind is satans world, its influence, your questions, doubts and unreliable thinking... all this takes place there, the heart is your seat of motivation, its what interacts with god when he opens it up, its where you talk to him from and where your good and bad motives arise (contradictory) but your heart cant be trusted (contradictory.).

  either way, the jw's potray a seperation of heart and mind.

  They think everything is treacherous, the heart, the mind, the soul, the body, it is all bad, bad, bad, and not to be trusted. So in other words don't trust anynody including yourself only trust the GB they will show the way through.

  There is someone behind the scenes who knows so much that the WTBTS could never fire him or her. This person has the no limit black credit card.

  There has to be someone or some small group that is living the dream, and has the ear of the GB.

  They probably have all of the dirt on those in charge as well.

  For example. The Unthank case. Who closed down his PayPal deal? Who influenced the court system to toss out the case?

  Money will do this for you along with the proper dirt on the right people.

  Just some food for thought.

  Kingdom Hall remodel - scam

  i was wondering from any here in the know, does it seem like there is a lot of "remodels" going on?.

  in the last week i had the occasion to talk with two jw's in different halls, about 10 miles apart.

  they both are undergoing major remodels.

  NeverScreamAgain: This goes right along with this topic. They live the mold for say 5-10 years then remodel the WHOLE HALL! Take it down to the studs and spray with a treating solution then put it back together with materials purachsed through the RBC with full kick backs to who else...the WTBTS.

  Mold is a blessing from God to the borg.

  Will higher gas prices cause a policy change (New Light) re. field service?

  will higher gas prices bring about some new light regarding field service?.

  in the part of the u.s. where i live most of the territories require driving long distances.

  some congregation members are unemployed and many are retired/living on limited income.

  So here is my opinion. They will send a letter out to all congregations to say that all publishers should reflect the practice of reimbursing drivers for fuel like they do at bethel.

  When a person drives to the congregation, all riders are responsible to reimburse the driver X.XX amount of dollars each way. So the borg will say for every hour of field service each rider should reimburse the driver/car owner X.XX amount of dollars to offset gas costs.

  Problem solved in their minds and once again they put the bill right where they love to; straigh up the keester of the R&F. They walk away patting themselves on the back and the R&F falls right in line patting backs as well.
