  Two new experiences.....

  all of you share your experiences about encountering jw's and i enjoy them so much....here are two that just happened over the weekend for your enjoyment.. so as you all may know last december i was officially labeled by the borg.

  so now all jdubs must shun me who have known me since birth and thereafter.. i had a booth at a local festival this saturday and a jw was the chairman of this years deal.

  so he is also a photog and he was going to each booth and taking a picture of it.. he did the one right beside me and then did a wide half circle to get to the next booth on the other side so as not to get to close to the new town apostate.

  I had a booth at a local festival this Saturday and a JW was the chairman of this years deal. So he is also a photog and he was going to each booth and taking a picture of it.

  He did the one right beside me and then did a wide half circle to get to the next booth on the other side so as not to get to close to the new town Apostate. I laughed as he did it and pointed it out to the person working with me in the booth.

  So on Sunday I was with some customers and we decided to get a bite to eat and low and behold a witness couple walk in and they see me and I could see them considering whether or not to stay. They do and they sit at the next booth in front of us. They sat so close which suprised me.

  As I sat and ate with my party I considered my next course of action. Should I say something? Should I just wave and act happy?

  No I decided to pay for their lunch. So I when I went up to pay for the bill I paid for theirs as well. I don't know what it accomplished if anything, but I would like to think that it made them uncomfy.

  So later that day when my wife got home from a congo picnic, she told me that they said to tell me thank you for buying their lunch. That is better than what I really thought they would do which was send the money back and say please don't contact us or do something like this again.

  Anyhow, I think I will pay for Witness meals more often now just to make recognize that we are still alive and kickin outside the ole watchtower.

  Drawings of NEW Watchtower World Headquarters in Warwick, New York

  among the ammenities are a sand volley ball court, two tennis courts and a full basketball court.... there's also parking garages and picnic areas for visitors.... by the way, not sure exactly what this is but you'll notice a shaded area labelled "undergound chamber"... interesting.... (i wonder if moving out to the middle of nowhere was intended to keep bethelites from sneaking out at night and going to the liquor store... just saying).

  yes, the may 15th watchtower is now available for download from jw.org.. the final study article, on page 26, directs another salvo at apostates - and warns witnesses not to try arguing with them on the internet:.

  indeed, we ought to move as far away from wrongdoing as possible and not see how close we can get to it without being overcome by sin.

  for instance, we need to guard against succumbing to apostasy, a sin that would make us unfit to glorify god.

  in 1517, martin luther wrote in a letter to archbishop albert of mainz: you must graciously forgive that i, that scum of the earth, am so bold as to dare to address a letter to you.. yes, i know, you think of me as scum, just like mainz believed of luther, wondering how i dare write you a letter, someone jehovahs witnesses disfellowshipped back in 2002. i was accused of being an unrepentant sinner and condemned for causing divisions, then labeled apostate because i spoke out publicly on nbcs dateline tv program aboutthe child sexual abuse policies that protected pedophiles policies that you helped formulate.

  doomsday religions have to prophesy or predict in order to remain relevant. (sp) That is all that is happening here. this gives the sheep something to talk aboutin their meaningless lives working for the watchtower.
