please fill in the blanks.... from my experiance i would say: " silent, depressed, out all hours in the minstry and only gives birth to males ( potencial ms's elders etc).

But I think thank they deep down think they are a bit better than the other, non elders wifes....

I so much wanted to be one myself but my husband were never well enough and inactive for many years. Can't believe that was my dream??

are they only in romania?

how do their numbers compare to actual jws?.

Who remembers the Circuit Orchestra's? How good was yours?

in the days before 'simplification', the days of 3 day circuit assemblies (fri evening plus sat & sun), when we used have catering departments that cooked and served up hot meals, we also used to have circuit orchestras.. i must say ours was pretty poor though, only matched by the lacklustre singing.. eyeslice.

(bee in his bonnet since mrs eyeslice went to singing practice at local kh on sunday evening).

Jwoods, yes I posted earlier that we had an orchestra in the last cong I belonged to in which I played the piano. But that was only at the meetings not at assemblies. I think that still exists in some cong but it took a lot of time praciting etc.

I also remember the orchestras at the assemblies and I think that was great!

The Spirit of The Congregation

each hall has their own "spirit'.

some congregations are very strict.

others more liberal and still others, a little in between.

I've been in several congs but the last one had a very envious and materialistic spirit...like, who's the nicest car, nicest wife/husband, nicest clothes, nicest house, nicest children, who's thinnest etc etc

OMG I was so tired of that competing spirit...not very spiritual

However, I was known for my spirituality...whatever that is???
