  hello, i am jehovah witness and gay.

  i am from puerto rico.

  i would like to know how hard is to leave the organization.

  Welcome. Here you are among friends and will be loved for who you are.

  I can say that it was quite easy for me to leave, even though I was in agony while doubting. I left my husband at the same time. However I had lot's of support from my parents who had already left the org. I've lost a sister though, who's still in

  I don't know how your family situation looks like but I think that you'll be, in any case, much much more happy when you leave and can be your true self. I think the hardest part is before you've decided what to do...

  i think i did and that was one of the things that eventually made me leave the org.

  i just couldn't take living with a bad conscience constantly.

  when i left this was one of the things that disappeard first and it was as tons were lifted from my shoulders.

  Things that gave me bad conscience

  1. Wasn't pioneering
  2. Answered to little at the meetings
  3. Not regular enough at meetings
  4. Forgot to pray before b'fast and lunch
  5. Not enough personal studies
  6. Worked way to much with wordly people
  7. Bad thoughts
  8. Did not go in service or meetings while on holiday
  9. etc

  No wonder I was un-happy...

  i'd like to point out that men do even more irrating and inexplicable things than women.... 1) not wanting to ask for directions.

  2) getting a kick out of seeing people blown up in movies.
