Oh it's not a crime to use another name ...I mean heck do you think StoneWall is my real name. The point I'm making is that he has used many alias names if you do a google check and has even used names relating to famous celebrities at various times.(Seemed like to further his agenda at the time or attract a specific crowd/audience)
Be that as it may, his real name is already out there and once it's on the internet as we all know any attempts of protecting his family is going to be much harder.
I just feel in being honest the articles should be similarly written as many magazines (even the WT at times) by saying something like Tommy Robinson (not his real name but for his protection an alias) would add much more credibility to the article.

You do realize that his name isn't Tommy(or Tommie) Robinson I hope.
I hear a lot of blasting going on about the Leftist views but found this article in the Guardian about the far rights views interesting as well.
I think both sides have some valid points but as always neither are giving the full picture or conveniently leaving out a few parts here and there if it furthers their agendas.

The one from yesterday is already on there and the one about the JW's will more than likely be added soon. -

A song about us and for us Ex-JW's that has lyrics we can all relate to
by StoneWall ini've known many talented witnesses and ex-jw's that could compose music, write novels, paint portraits etc.
but i think this is the best art-form(music,songwriting and composing) that i have personally seen/heard so far that puts what so many of us have experienced and endured into words.i used to listen to r.e.m.
's song "losing my religion" and think how great it would be if someday an ex-jw could do a song that would apply even more to us.

This is why the Elders should always call the WT society or personal attorney before ever talking to the Police.
by StoneWall inthis is probably going to unnerve some on here or make them uncomfortable.we always hear, why didn't the elders call the cops first instead of the wt society (lawyers/attorneys).
in cases of child molestation or other incidents.this video is why and if you're smart you'll follow their example.i'm not taking the wtbts side on this just so you know in advance because i do not agree with the two witness rule at all.but be that as it may, this is by far the best lawyer/attorney and law professor i've ever heard on the subject of why you should never talk to the police and always let an investigation be made through counsel.this is why in the usa you have the right to remain silent when talking to police/authorities but even more important what the fifth amendment really entails and why it would behoove us all to understand what can happen even if you are totally innocent and have nothing to hide but how things can go horribly wrong.if i ever have to go to court for anything i can only hope that i got a lawyer as competent as this one the vid is approx 46 minutes long but well worth investing that time because if you had to talk to a lawyer it would cost you a lot to receive what this professor covers in this.the majority is from the law professor and the remaining minutes are of a former police captain/investigator with his insights and opinions.and just to be clear, i'm not suggesting that the elders not call the police because they should in cases of child molestation but rather they better get legal advice to protect themselves so that they don't have to answer for the wtbts decisions.look how many former (ex) elders we have on sites like this one and others and i'm so happy they got free of the wt but also they didn't get in trouble by accidentally saying/doing the wrong thing.all of us can benefit by following this advice in the video and i hope you enjoy it and to know what your rights arehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-7o9xyp7ee.

zeb you asked if there had been any investigation into the Australian woman that was killed by cops here in the USA. Here is a link to a CNN article with some of the latest info.
Pay close attention to the part about the officers had body cams but neither of them were turned on.Also notice that the police are being very quiet and not to forth coming with information. This is why it's so important to use their own strategy about being silent/quiet when dealing with them , and not giving them anything other than what is required by law.I used to think that people that plead the fifth had something to hide but now I see why so many are doing it.
Because even if you are innocent something you say can be turned around and used against you.

The Last Episode Of This JW Life Is Out Now
by dubstepped inthe last episode of my story on thisjwlife is out now.
after leaving the cult of jehovah’s witnesses we learned even more eye-opening things about it.
then we applied the same scrutiny to the book that everything we ever believed was based on.

Dubstepped two thumbs way up for this podcast....it was a great closure to your podcast on your series of your JWLife.
As has been pointed out by others, there is so much we all shared in some form or fashion being in the JW cult that we can relate to.
I know on another of your threads I mentioned about being a sub-contractor for meter reading for a short time such as you had done. I even did some cleaning jobs to help out a friend that was a JW that did large chain stores (stripping, mopping, waxing buffing etc.)
The majority of my time as a youth was spent doing carpentry/construction...and we all know if it was good enough for Jesus being a carpenters son that it was good enough for us
.I'm not knocking it just was never interested in it in the least. I always preferred the science fields such as Astronomy, computer sciences and Technology etc.
But since those "quick built" Kingdom halls weren't going to build themselves, I was strongly encouraged to stay in the construction trades and not go to college/university
The end was so close all those decades ago that it was more important to help the society get more real estate and develop them because there wouldn't be time left in this system to even finish a degree.
What a con job they did on so many of us to help expand their printing and real estate empire.(disguised as a religion for tax purposes)
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you I really enjoyed your podcasts and hope you can keep doing them to tell others stories because it does help many to hear that they're not the only ones struggling with the fall-out from leaving the cult and also how people are finding ways to overcome their adversities and continue healing.
Much love to both you and your wife and next time you hug her, give her one for me also
If she asks why a hug from StoneWall.....just tell her that I know the pain of being shunned by family but that I also know the greater feeling of happiness getting some of them out of the cult. -

A disturbing reaction.
by longgone inearlier today i was listening to a you tube video about brain plasticity, how our minds aren't hardwired, and that by changing the way we think it can make actual physical changes in the brain.
which is cool for many reasons.
one in particular for me and likely any ex jw is that the way the wts has programmed us, especially those born in, can eventually get past it.

The good news is that it does get better.
Think of it like this, if you get too much alcohol or coffee into your body your body will try to purge itself by puking(vomiting) because your body can only handle so much toxicity.
Same way with religious bullshit. Your stomach will start tightening up and make you want to throw-up because your brain is telling your body it can't handle no more of this religious bullshit.
Now when I hear religious music I just tell myself that when I get home I'll care it once again by blasting some good ole Rock N Roll like AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith,Lynyrd Skynyrd,The Beatles etc. (Real music)
Works each and every time for me. -

Episode 6 - Life Gets Dark As One Of Jehovah's Witnesses - Is Live Now
by dubstepped inepisode 6 of this jw life is now live.
it is a brutally honest, at times dark, look into what it was like behind the scenes in our lives.
people don't talk openly about ugly parts of their lives and it leads to other people feeling alone when theirs gets ugly.

StoneWall
Just finished listening to this and have to say it held my attention and I really like the way in which you presented it.
Even though this is episode 6, I have to admit this is the first of your podcast that I've listened to so far.
In saying that, I can also say after hearing this one it won't be my last.
I know we all share certain things in common with each other by simply being associated with this religion(cult) but I was surprised at how much our lives mirrored each others in other ways such as when you mentioned having a meter reading job it immediately brought back to my mind when I sub-contracted meter reading from a local power company.
Also you said you got married at 22 and your wife was 19, I was 21 and my wife was 18. (so both had a 3 year spread in age range apparently)
Anyways I don't want to give too much away so that others can listen and enjoy it as well but just wanted to say I could relate to so much of what you talked about.
I'm already looking forward to the next episode, so keep up the great job and I applaud your efforts and for being so candid.
