  i admit i have a soft spot for leonard cohen's music.

  i had a customer come in who sings for funerals, he just told me his most requested is cohen's "hallelujah".

  a good friend used to sing it at christmas in her church!

  in questions from readers, it explains that when satan told eve 'you certainly will not die', he wasn't starting the doctrine of the immortal soul, but that rather came later, after the flood..

  i just finished looking through the circuit overseer manual, so here are some highlights.

  first up, regarding circuit assemblies:.

  if a brother is so extremely overweight that others would be distracted if he had a part on the program, good judgment would need to be used in deciding whether to give him an assignment.

  Here's another social structure that works for the JW's: mediocracy. Don't shine too brightly or you'll be called in on the carpet.

  LV, I'm an NPR listener. They get the evil eye from right-wingers, undeservedly,IMO. I hear interviews on both sides of current issues on there.

  I wish there was more honesty in delivering the facts.

  There is a recent bumpy spot in the love affair between Mr Trump and Fox News. It seems that there are actually a couple of real journalists at Fox who feel that reporting facts is part of their job.

  hello all - long ago i posted under sosad..... cant get back under that name so hello again.

  i though i remember in hte last couple of years that there was a change in the strict practice of not clinking glasses and toasting,,, that it was more of a conscience decision.. was i dreaming this?

  any help towards printed information on this subject is very much appreciated..

  when i saw this young boy play the drums i was really impressed by his talent and the joy that he has.

  for some strange reason, i thought of how his life would change if his parents studied with the jdubs and became witnesses.

  i could see how the boy's life would change.
