  Cameo-d, you must not be relying on ANY news source for your information because if you were, you would know that it IS all about ransom money....yes even AMERICAN money. And to say that we as Americans feel more deserving of anything is the height of arrogance on your part since America and Americans help less fortunate people ALL THE TIME! I don't necessarily agree with the attitude of bombing in this instance especially.....this is just a small fringe group. Better ways of dealing with them like what they did. If it were another country who's people were held hostage and they had rescued them in the same manner, would you still feel the way you do? Like you said in your first post....there's nothing wrong with standing up for yourself.

  Your comments are just ignorant. They are called pirates for a reason and it has nothing to do with water rights,fishing,or toxic waste. It is wholly due to them wanting a ransom. This is the first US shipped targeted so what is your excuse with all the other incidents? Some of the boats targeted are tourist boats. It is all about $$ for them. You are clearly anti-American so I'm sure my message won't get trough to you.

  By the way......kudos to the US Navy Seals. They are beyond awesome and the grueling training they go through clearly paid off in this situation.

  JW facebook page growing fast, and already outing troublemakers......

  interesting place to lurk and in just a few days there are 180 members....i quickly noticed there are very many posts raising questions elders hate to be asked...like why is there a no face hair rule except for mustache?.....and many others...like wedding rings are pagan...but due to nobody feeling that way now...why is that rule not applied to everything else like it...and on and on from many who have posted...... and they ususally want to know if there are biblical reasons for the rule or teaching!!!

  !......this thing will not last long........oompa.

  oh and if you join...the guys running it send pms to you listing the "trouble makers" found on the site....not sure if they can be kicked out without violating the rules like cussing and porn posting.......i just wonder how many tough questions they will let be discussed..... .

  I joined that group and my first post got deleted because I said something about brainwashing. I did get the messages about the troublemakers and also one that said this group is no longer open, invitation only now. LOL....that didn't take long! They will throw out the troublemakers and then it will be the same old thing.....JW's listening to other JW's spewing the same old drivel! Why am I not surprised?

  Did You Feel Living Under Strict Rules Kept You In The Religion?

  i know of many people who actually prefer to be told what to do or what not to do because it's easier for them to co-exist.

  they just act on autopilot and seem for the most part happy.. some feel that government isn't really an interference; the more laws the better!.

  some "in the truth" also feel that "whatever mother says is good enough for me".

  Heck no! Living under strict rules is what made me leave. I think more people (kids mostly) might acutally stay if they'd ease up a bit on all the restrictions.

  well, call me an effiminate girly man, but i bought a wii and a wii fit this week.

  i must say after firing this program up that it looks pretty impressive.

  i don't think it could be made any easier to keep track of your exercise times and weights and goals.

  I don't think it's girly at all! My husband bought the Wii for his kids for Christmas and just recently got the Wii fit. We have yet to use it but he's looking forward to putting us both on an exercise regiment. I have only done the bowling game and it is really realistic and fun.

  Given the huge challenges facing this country and the constant barrage of "be afraid!" messages from politics and pulpits, it's understandalbe some of us have a close relationship with dread.

  Yet we should remain wary of doomsday fantasizing, in either its religious or secular form. For history shows that such thinking, wether it revolves around the wrath of God or the rage of nature, has a way of embarrassing the doomsayers- and more important, hampering much needed progress along the way.

  "Let's wipe it all out and start again!" holds a certain appeal when the present state of affairs is irredeemabley bad. Especially to the beholders who believe they will be among the "saved" wether through devine intervention or at least by being on the right side of the argument.

  I am reposting Six of 9's post from earlier that Gregor tried to divert attention from. This quote from Blago himself should say it all. Obama isn't playing his game. I don't know how anyone can dispute this.

  I'm thankful for a happy well adjusted kid who got to do all the things I didn't get to do while growing up.

  I'm also very thankful for my husband and my dogs who bring great joy to my life.

  It's only November and already I'll be thankful when spring arrives.
