i don't mean to sound crude but ive always wondered what witnesses are allowed to do in their marriage (sex wise) only i always imagined that they wouldn't ever deviate from the 'missionary possition' and what about oral sex, is that allowed ?.

i spoke to an 'on the fence' old friend of mine a while ago he'd recently married and he said that a sister in their congregation had told his wife that anything other than 'missionary' was totaly out, he was angry at this statement and told me he thought it was "a matter of conscience" .

but i'm still curious !

Another guilt trip Watchtower this past Sunday.

i won't go into the article as a whole because it's discussed in another topic here.

but i truly despise the way that the watchtower tries to guilt or frighten people into going out in field service.

not only will jehovah kill that person (unfairly) if you don't preach to them, but he'll kill you too!.

If you really think about it, weren't the disciples of Jesus the ones anointed with Holy spirit? Weren't they the ones who took the initiative in spreading the good news, even when they knew they would face death. Well, aren't the FDS the anointed ones today? What the hell is THEIR job?

to justify the existence of evil and suffering, despite god being all powerful and benevolent, it is said that free will is of such high worth that it is worth the risk of us using it to create evil.

Free will exists, and some creatures use it for evil ends. God didn't create evil, so he does not bear the responsibility of a free agent's actions, in the same way that Ford or Chevy doesn't share the vehicular manslaughter charge in a drunk-driving case

I agree. The problem lies in the arguments. Even if your an Atheist you can reason that if there were a creator he is not held responsible for what his creations do giving them free will!
