  Will you celebrate New Year?

  in sweden the tradition is to eat lobster and fillet of beef and champagne of course!

  party, dance and party more with family and friends.. i've never attended a real new year party (for obvious reasons) but it would be nice sometime.... i'm happy that my boyfriend will come and join me from the north.

  some times i find it hard to stay awake until midnight though.

  What is the WatchTower Society's view on the possibility of losing salvation?

  i am not a jehovah's witness, but i am a non-trinitarian anihilationist, so i am extremely sympathetic to their cause.. due to my similarities of belief on those two key issues, i am curious to learn more about what the watchtower society believes on other issues, particularly if one can be unsaved after being saved.

  i am currently convinced (and probably will not be unconvinced) from romans and 1 john that once one is saved, he cannot be unsaved, and i am inerested to see where i would differ if at all from jehovah's witness belief..

  Paul had some dignitaries that came into town to visit him. Paul himself purchased the animal sacrifices for them.

  This was everything Jesus stood against. He overturned the money changers because of the false teachings of animal "scapegoat" sacrifices.

  The fact that Paul still participated in temple events and sacrifice also shows that he did not believe that Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice or he would not have continued the practice of sacrificial animals.

  The whole thing about blood sacrifice is an abomination. Killing an animal or a human being does not, and never has, "taken away" anyones sins. It is a pagan ritual of believing that you can rub the goats head and transfer your sins (cooties) onto the goat. Kill the goat, and now you are not responsible for any of your wrong doings anymore. The goat did it!

  Paul compromised his principles and you can read this in Acts 21:18-24. He was persuaded to go along with what he knew was wrong. Or maybe he really had no conscience about it one way or another. To deliberately go against what you know is right illustrates what it means to "grieve the Holy Spirit" or to "have a double mind".

  Paul never knew Jesus and had never spent any time with him nor heard him speak. Since the apostles did not have anything to do with Paul he did not learn much about Jesus's teachings from them either.

  I think Paul's "religion" was under the influence and direction of the scribes and pharisees. And I think Paul made it into a lucrative business for himself, for his part in it.

  i do not know how to scan the wt if someone can it would be great but i wrote it out verbatim .

  i think what the wt says speaks for its self.

  am i missing something and or reading something into what they are saying.

  You are comparing apples to oranges. Jesus is NOT Jehovah. The WT is famous for using the two interchangeably and yet they don't believe in the three-in-one trinity. WT, however, does promote a duality of gods by using Jesus/Jehovah as one and the same. In one sentence they use Jesus and in continuing the thought, the next thing you know, they are using Jehovah.

  And do you know why that is? They all use "essentially the same Bible" because of Cannonical Laws that any translations of scriptures are prohibited unless they have been approved by the Holy C. Or the editing must be supervised by a bishop. Does NWT have any credits that reveal this?

  he preached his organization's "divine right" to torture and kill their rivals (decapitation or disolved in acid is quite common).. as it turns out, nazario moreno gonsalez was an ex-jw who used his recruiting skills to adoctrinatepeople into working as gunmen and vested them with the "divine justice" to kill cartel rivals.
