It seems there has been more focus on "Generation Next" over the past few years.
Old timers will reject change. But young people by their very nature, are idealistic and easily led.
I read somewhere that it only takes one generation ---separated from natural family unit---and trained with new concepts, to implement a great societal change.
It looks like it's working.
A few years ago, they made the global warming movie as part of school curriculum. Now we have a big spin off called "Kids for climate change." Even though adults see the subject as controversial and unproven, the students don't pass their tests without giving the answers that are required as "correct". They are being taught this is a truth.
They are also being taught socialistic concepts, as that is part of this paradise plan.
Everyone gets a home! A chicken in every pot!
What they don't tell you is this...you will be told where you will live. You may have to live with people you don't like and who are not your family. You may have to live in a communal situation.
And as for the chicken in every pot....well, you may have to do the menial jobs you are told to do whether you like it or not and then wait in the breadline to get your bowl of chicken soup. You may not have the freedom to choose your meal.
Paradise ...equality...lies and socialism.

as we know, if ct russell believed that this statement was to be understood literally and he expected the jews to convert to christianity as a sign of christ's return, the current position of the wts, as explained in this qfr article, is that "spiritual" israel and not fleshly israel is what it is about in rom.
chapter 11 and christ's return will be marked by the completion of the whole number of the 144 000 anointed.

Which is the law that is cursed? The Law "of Moses"? or the Noahide laws?
If these laws were part of the covenant agreement, then why are they now (in New Testament) considered a CURSE?
Did Christ redeem people from this curse through his teachings?

Your answer does not address or resolve any of these questions:
1. Why would they choose a CALF as opposed to a bull or a cow?
2. So what's the message here? Why would these people choose a diety that seems inept at guidance, defense, and protection?
However, I did find something of value in your post, thank you. I read a little something on Samiri (Aaron). And this is interesting and something new to me.
It says that Samiri (Aaron) took some of the dust from Moses footsteps and used it in shaping the mold of the calf. He believed that Moses had left a spiritual presence in the dust where he walked.
By using this dust he felt it gave the calf a spiritual aura.

Calf worship was the first form of idolatry mentioned in the Bible to which the Israelites succumbed after the Exodus from Egypt
So they picked this up from the Egyptians, right? Kind of like being born-in. It was basically all they knew and Moses came along to try to convert them to the new god. But god didn't have a name yet at that time did he?
So it was just natural that these people would fall back on what they knew...(the old deities)... when Moses went missing.
Moses brought the matter to a showdown by crying: "Who is on Jehovah’s side? To me!" (Ex 32:26) All the sons of Levi responded, and this undoubtedly included Aaron. Three thousand idolaters, probably the prime movers of the rebellion, were slain by them.
So this god rescues them from a life of slavery just to cause a civil war between them and kill each other?
Does anything ever change? How many people have been killed for arguing over the better deity?

Yes, even "Jehovah" himself was referred to as a bull and depicted with bovine imagery.
I never ever heard of this! Can you tell me where you find this information? It does seem to fit as a very good metaphor for this tempermental god.
Jehovah was big on virgin sacrifices . recall the daughter who greeted her father and ended up being a virgin sacrifice.
Ooooh. This is getting to be a scary story.
