i'll excerpt this bit from 1 samuel 7. always has given me goosebumps.

32 david said to saul, "let no one lose heart on account of this philistine; your servant will go and fight him.".

33 saul replied, "you are not able to go out against this philistine and fight him; you are only a boy, and he has been a fighting man from his youth.".

I like the one where the woman dragged herself down the street holding on to the hem of Jesus' toga as she begged him to heal her. He finally conceded saying something like, well, even the Master throws the dog a bone from the table once in a while.

Something like that.

Can a Baptist be an Apostate?

i never even heard of an "apostate" until a jw called me that.....and i'm not even a jw!.

anyway, i am wondering if "apostate" is a term exclusive to cult groups only, like jws, mormons, and scientologists.

i have never heard of a methodist or baptist apostate, but surely, there must be such a thing.. i have seen complaints where "apostate" xtians say they were kicked off websites that promote "mainstream xianity" or denominational religions, so there can never really be any deep discussions or debates on those sites.

hahaha.

When baptism becomes no big deal that's a sure indication they are on the way out. I remember hearing some years ago that they only had baptismal ceremonies twice a year. I guess they were hoping to get enough candidates to make it worthwhile to have a big show. Now they are reduced to one or two in a horse trough. Hahaha. They ought to be ashamed to even do such a thing. It is very telling. Looks like the Tower has crumbled.

Back from my 300 mile bicycle ride

i finished my 5 day ride on friday to help raise funds for the ms society.

i had an absolutely great time.

Wow Poppers! That's a serious trek! What do you think of recumbent bikes? Also, just a curious question....can a trike go just as fast as a 2 wheel?

luke 21:23 " woe to the pregnant woman and the ones suckling a baby in those days!

for there will be great necessity upon the land and wrath on this people.. the society always applied this scripture, which was talking about the destruction of jerusalem, to the last days and the destruction of this system of things.

the big 1975 push was in full swing when my mother found out she was pregnant with my youngest sister.

Where are all the missing children?

There are so many that it is not being publicized. If people realized the numbers in each town, each state, and across the nation I think there would be a lot of loud demands for answers. But no one is discussing the missing children because it is not being publicized. When I found out how many were missing in just my county it was horrorifying.

Something evil is going on. People need to investigate the statistics and start asking WHY.

Who Heads God's Organization Today?

who heads god's organization today?.

i've been thinking about this idea about a visible organization.

not the governing body of jehovah's witnesses at all, they, along with the entire realm of religious christendom are a non-entity.

The only "visible" organization I know of are ALL tied into Freemasonry. I think there must be a big difference between "God" and "Creator". Besides, don't they teach you that the god of this world is satan? If so, then "god's visible organization" would have to be a satanic network.
