...Weird Ass Lights in the Sky...

as most of you know i live in a forest,in the mountains..at night there is very little light pollution... so the sky is one big theatre screen... i see shooting stars,northern lights,satellites,planes on a destination..it`s all very beautiful... tonight was different... .
tonight there was something in the sky that defied anything i`ve ever seen... it had multiple aircraft lights but not like regular airplane lights..it wasn`t a helicopter... it could go straight up or down... move in one direction then head in another..it could do all kinds of weird stuff... sometimes it just hovered..then start doing all these weird maneuvers... regular aircraft is going somewhere,it`s headed in a direction..not this thing... i watched a regular airplane pass it... .

misocup, I have thought about that same scripture, too, about "signs in the heaven". Are we being played once again? In looking further into this, I never realized there were so many satellites surrounding us. Maybe the "flying saucers" are holographic images being displayed from some of these satellites in the sky.

Why do I come here
by Luo bou to ini believe i have completely freed myself from any borg influence yet i am drawn to this board.
like many of you ,i lost my wife and family, but i don't believe i can do anything about that, and if i could, i doubt that it would be a kindness on my part to do so.
they have so much invested.

Yes, people who have had the yoke of WT upon them have a bond of understanding. And it's good to have one another to talk to when the nightmares creep back in or the WT influences sometimes rears its ugly head again in some way.
Friends are like buoys in a churning sea. No one needs the weight of an anchor, but a buoy to cling to and rest for awhile is nice.
One of my interests here is pursuing topics and questions that have not been sufficiently answered by man's religions. I figure that many JWs were sincere in wanting to seek the truth before they got seduced into WT promises that they had special knowledge. And if they were sincere in wanting to know truth, that many would still be diligent in seeking it....once they can get past the lies.

Here's one for you Outlaw. Notice it shows a man and his dog observing the spaceship. Btw, did your dog see it? How did he react? Animals are supposed to be sensitive to many things we cannot see or hear.
This painting is called "The Madonna with Saint Giovannino". It was painted in the 15th century by Domenico Ghirlandaio (1449-1494) and hangs as part of the Loeser collection in the Palazzo Vecchio. Above Mary's right shoulder is a disk shaped object. Below is a blow up of this section and a man and his dog can clearly be seen looking up at the object.

Texas witness estimates 'super ship' was 7,500 feet long!
...."It flew from cloud to cloud as if was trying to hide. In the open between the clouds it would almost fade in with the stars above but as soon as the ship jumped near to the top of next cloud, it would fade back into view, it is possible that the chemical composition of the earth’s cloud may have an undesirable effect of the Super-ship’s ability to stay invisible (think sun hitting falling rain to make a rainbow)."

the article explains that, in jehovah's eyes, the ransom was as good as done so it could be applied even though it was not yet paid.... ok... so if a married couple becomes intamite on the night before their wedding should we still form a jc?

It doesn't matter that it was your paraphrase, elderite. I have heard many others "paraphrase" the very same things. WT seems to take it upon themselves to make statements that are not theirs to make. Their resurrection predictions are more statement of fact than prediction and they have made assertions about many bible characters without even knowing if some of these characters were myth or real. The bOrg has unlawfully seized the Throne of the Almighty.

I was suprised that JWs would use bad words. I saw bad language a few times that really put me off at first. Now I even use it once in a while! Yes, apostates are bad influence!!!
I was concerned about elder thugs that might be seaching people out. But then I read more and became confident in my own knowledge of how things worked, I realized that I could take a tiger by the tail. Doesn't concern me anymore. I can deal with whatever anybody wants to attempt to throw at me.
It opened my eyes about a lot of things. I didn't know much about JWs. I had some friends who were JW and ventured here thinking it would give me some insight on why they believe some of the stuff they do. I had glanced over some of the mags and thought them pretty benign. That was until I began to scrutinize from things published here about how WT slips in little twists of their own.
I had been to Hall a couple of times and thought it was so very odd the way they made adults raise their hands like third graders and referred to cleaning chores as "priveliges". Also, someone "getting" to write the names on materials to be passed out thought it was a really special thing to be chosen. It just seemed so juvenile to me. But then, I began to see that WT takes advantage of those who have less education or are new in this country and they seem to capitalize on minority groups for their slaves.

The act of "blessing" comes from the word "blood". To bless someone was to throw blood on them. I suppose this originated from using the blood of sacrificial animals. With that in mind, this above paragraph would mean that all would have blood on them and be bloodguilty by association for obeying that voice. In this case, as it was then, that voice is the the voice of man's rule on the pretense of being directed by some invisible spirit force. They rule by using mans superstition against him. They rule because weak men deny the voice of their own conscience and permit it. I have always thought it sounded very creepy when WT answers that evil happens because "it is permitted". Who permits it? Those who who do stand up against it!

The org has said time and again that John the baptizer will not be resurected to heavenly life because he died prior to the christ and that arrangment was only from Jesus death forward.
Seems that the Org has given itself the power to decide who gets resurrected and who does not. Arrogance, assumption, and usurpation.
It is also disturbing the way they use the phrase "the christ" as it becomes an object and not a proper noun.
