Feeling like such a horrible parent.

took my children to the park last night, as my daughter requested.

we walked to the park, overcome with this feeling of something bad was going to happen, but shrugged it off and proceeded to the destination.

we were there for only 20 minutes, as i was helping my 4 year old son, my daughter fell off the bars.

“Your daughter fell of the bars? Geeze, she must be the first kid who's ever done that.” Or the second or the fifth.

She will be fine!

others, well ... i'm not one for scientific studies.

nor why one thing works and another will not, despite the time and effort put into it (whatever the thing/endeavor happens to be).. kindly inform me if you, in passing by and, having nothing better to do of a saturday eve, happen to see this post but have no intention of responding.. perhaps this is rocket science after all.. thank you for reading though finding no necessity to reply .... "they stayed away in droves.".

to justify the existence of evil and suffering, despite god being all powerful and benevolent, it is said that free will is of such high worth that it is worth the risk of us using it to create evil.

talked with the jw wife about the rough time i always have near my b-day(9/9) and to my suprise before midnight on the 8th, whe bore to me a gift.

i know, that was a huge thing for her to do.

she has also moved since having a 4 week lay-off, to aux pio!

the fds is, of course, mentioned.

the verses in revelation say that the lord (who is ruling as king) would bring to ruin those not fearing his name.

This probably will make no sense, Sorry I am just trying to understand:

PAR4, PAR6, PAR9 & PAR10- What I understand is this; Christ is not doing his job, so they are preparing themselves (GB) to commit mutiny and overthrown Christ.

PAR13, PAR14 & PAR15- What I understand is this; the GB is preparing the people for the aftermath after the hostile takeover (Jesus failed to perform so they are following Jehovah instructions). Apostates are talking about how the WTO is manipulating the scriptures and that now the WT can make a new bible because they now truly and only represent Jehovah interest with Jesus Christ out of the equation. So they are starting the discredit campaign in advance.

In shot in the future they can make their own set of rules, their own bible, without having to be afraid of independent thinking.

The Cenozoic, is the most recent of the three classic geological eras and covers the period from 65.5 million years ago to the present.
The Cenozoic is the age of new life. During the Cenozoic, mammals diverged from a few small, simple, generalized forms into a diverse collection of terrestrial, marine, and flying animals. The Cenozoic is just as much the age of savannas, or the age of co-dependent flowering plants and insects. Birds also evolved substantially in the Cenozoic.

That is a very good question. Hi billie jean, hope all is well.

The dinosaurs lived proximately 200 million years ago; they ruled the earth for 160 million years. And disappeared 65 million years ago (K–T extinction event, aka: the big rock).
Modern humans “prototypes” appears 4 million years ago, with means that the earth was almost empty for about 60 million years. The modern man emerges about 200,000 years ago.

The earth is about 4.5 billion years old, during that period, the planet have been “preparing for us” (not in the order that they occurred, you can do your own research and let me know how far off I am):

1. Bombarded by meteors
2. Created the moon.
3. Ice age.
4. Mini ice age.
5. Global flooding.
6. Global fires.
7. Rodinia supercontinent.
8. Pangaea supercontinent.
9. 5 mass extinctions.
10. Change magnetic field a couple of times.

To conclude, I don’t know the answer for your question, but the truth is that he took a lot of time to put this thing together.

thinking vs. feeling.. must we choose just one ?

thinkingthinkers decide based primarily on logic, and when they do so, they consider a decision to be made.

they tend to see the world in black and white and dislike fuzziness.

feelingfeelers decide based primarily through social considerations, listening to their heart and considering the feelings of others.

Hi Caliber, hope all is well.
I am not from the WT but, don’t you think that even when you are not suppose to have independent thinking, the Witnesses use that (thinking wherever the teachings are wrong or not), more that what they feel (with the heart). As a matter of fact, a have read in a few sites that sometimes people are manipulated (correct me if I am wrong), “to never trust your own heart”, "wait on Jehovah", "leave it in Jehovah's hands", "don't run ahead". With means that every time that a situation arise that requires to trust your feelings, the teachings kicks in.
So, in my opinion, even if you think that those people are using their heart, they are not. They are using the thinks that are indoctrinated in their minds and overwriting all the feeling, guts, “social considerations, listening to their heart and considering the feelings of others” and replacing it with logic (whatever that is within the organization), so they “tend to see the world in black and white and dislike fuzziness”.
Sorry if a make no sense, as a matter of fact I use my feelings more.
