Tell Kool Aid Man 06.....that his interview need to be seen not just heard
by IreallydidwalkoutofaKH insix screens of the watchtower is really blowing up...but i really think the regular interviews need to be shown with some videos not just some black screen with someone talking....radio is one thing...but sitting in front of a blank screen after all these months is killing me....however, he is doing a damn good job!

Melchezidek Cannanite?
by openeyes inwas reading in a post that the name for god used in genesis has conections with the cannanite god el,i was wondering if there is any conection with the story of melchezidez as he was a cannanite king who worshipped the true got,also i assume as he was king his people would have followed the same religion,who were they and what happened to them,i know some will say hes a mythical character,but supposing the story is true its interesting to me that the first nation worshiping the true god was the cannanites or at least those in the city of salem..

For those with a personal relationship to God....How did you get there?
by digderidoo inas some of you are aware i have been going to aa meetings since the new year.
the "god thing" linked to the aa was a real dilemma for me.. since this time i have researched well the jw doctrines and come to the realisation that to have a personal relationship with a higher power i do not need to believe in the witness doctrine.. i am at a point where i have been considering how i personally would interprate a higher power.. i have met someone within the aa who is an ex jw and have just had a conversation with him on the phone, which has got me thinking about this.. now he has said that his faith now has been built by replacing one brick at a time so to speak.
giving an illustration of his faith being like a building, he can replace an old brick with a new one until he gets a new building all of his own making.

I'll give the whole story later. so much to tell. My father is a ministerial servent. My mom was a pioneer till she got sick. I always would wonder when I was at the meetings why they never really talked that much about Jesus or having a personal relationship with him. I was disfellowshipped for fornication. I felt so low. But then I found the power that Jesus can have when we let him in our life.
