  Typical. As we know, the rest who aren't JWs will die at the Big A anyway and are the evil doers of the world. Might as well let a giant wave sweep them out to sea. After the earth opens up now and eats them up. Makes it easier for Jah when the Big A happens.

  *Epiphany*: Jehovah allows earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, tornados, hurricanes and other natural disasters because he is just doing Pre-Armageddon work.

  That must be it.

  I wonder why no one figured that out before.

  personally, i would have no problem with this law.

  if they want to 'rejoin' society, this should be a condition of their release.

  i do not understand why human rights groups would be more concerned about these dangerous criminals...more...than children.. what do you think?.

  yup - positive jw id made already.. guy looks shocked when texan comes to door - "we were calling on oriental families" (as if i had no right to be there!).

  Do these Hollywood-Correctness types ever even listen to what they are saying and how it sounds to an incredulous public?

  Apparently not. They must think the public is so stupid (and many are) that they will continue to accept criminal behavior and endorse it.

  Perhaps people want to turn a blind eye to what actually happens when a young child (or woman) is RAPED.

  RAPED vaginally.

  RAPED Anally.

  RAPED orally.

  Reading the details, which, I gather, most people are not willing to do, will make them physically ill.

  It will make them want to vomit. It will make them want to see Polanski in prison with a roommate named Bubba. And Bubba will have the details of what he did. And Bubba won't be happy. And will wait for Polanski to drop the soap.

  He then had an *affair* with 15 year-old Nastassja Kinski who was the star of his movie Tess. Again, 15 years old.

  He is a Peodophile. I hope he rots in jail until he dies.

  happified is a real watchtower word(tm), by the way!.

  if you want to give the wts credit for anything, then at least give them credit for their remarkably simple solution to every ill suffered by mankind.. it is a "one size fits all" solution and might be part of the appeal the wts has attracting people who have a hard time with reason and common sense.. they won't specifically tell you what that solution is, though.

  if they did, they would even get less converts than they get now, and currently they ain't gettin' many.

  Otherwise known as her period. Menstration.

  Will *that* still happen? It was created by Jehovah himself. (depending on what you believe)

  Even with Worldwide Genocide, tampons and pads will still be necessary. Something to ponder.

  Sex crime conviction

  In 1977, Polanski, then aged 44, became embroiled in a scandal involving 13-year-old Samantha Gailey (now Samantha Geimer). It ultimately led to Polanski's guilty plea to the charge of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.

  According to Geimer, Polanski asked Geimer's mother if he could photograph the girl for the French edition of Vogue, which Polanski had been invited to guest-edit. Her mother allowed a private photo shoot. According to Geimer in a 2003 interview, "Everything was going fine; then he asked me to change, well, in front of him." She added, "It didn't feel right, and I didn't want to go back to the second shoot."

  Geimer later agreed to a second session, which took place on March 10, 1977 at the Mulholland area home of actor Jack Nicholson in Los Angeles. "We did photos with me drinking champagne," Geimer says. "Toward the end it got a little scary, and I realized he had other intentions and I knew I was not where I should be. I just didn't quite know how to get myself out of there." She recalled in a 2003 interview that she began to feel uncomfortable after he asked her to lie down on a bed, and how she attempted to resist. "I said, 'No, no. I don't want to go in there. No, I don't want to do this. No!', and then I didn't know what else to do," she stated, adding: "We were alone and I didn’t know what else would happen if I made a scene. So I was just scared, and after giving some resistance, I figured well, I guess I’ll get to come home after this".

  Geimer testified that Polanski gave her a combination of champagne and quaaludes,a sedativedrug, and "despite her protests, he performed oral sex, intercourse and sodomy on her", each time after being told 'no' and being asked to stop.

  Charges and guilty plea

  Polanski was initially charged with rape by use of drugs, perversion, sodomy, lewd and lascivious act upon a child under 14, and furnishing a controlled substance (methaqualone) to a minor. These charges were dismissed under the terms of his plea bargain, and he pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of engaging in unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
