  should i report this child abuser?

  i've already posted this on a recent thread, but just in case it gets ignored, i wanted it to have a thread of its own.

  as i'm quite uncertain as to what to do.... in the area that i just moved to i have discovered that there is a jw here that i used to know.

  the interesting thing about this jw is that when i knew him 20 years ago he fled my congo because a young sister spoke up and said that he had been raping her for years as a child.

  Just because he is married with a child doesn't mean he wont continue to hurt other children, or sadly enough even his own. I don't want to pass judgment but in this case I would say you have a responsibility to the children in the congregation to report this. The elders won't do anything if you tell them, they will sweep it under the carpet, that is assuming they don't already know and are just keeping quite. Perhaps you can let parents in the congregation know anonymously, no matter how you do please make sure people know.

  also does anyone know a good way i can get the current watchtowers with the study article on a regular basis?

  OK let me be a little more blunt. I am agnostic, I don't care what the bible has to say. I respect you two as individuals and your individual right to choose your own faith. I don't need scripture quoted at me I am asking for help to expose an organization that destroys families and lives. God is taking to long and I'm not convinced there is a God. IMO if there is a God he isn't very nice. So, please if you want to quote scripture at me feel free but I will simply ignore it. As I said I respect YOU, I do not respect the bible.

  This thread is about getting hard copies of WT literature if anyone can help please let me know.

  Been there done that :P I didn't record it but I burned all my WT literature years ago.

  I run a youtube channel "CSTheApostate" (kind of new) but I would like actual hard copies of WT material for some of my aposta-video's, and a much more involved youtube project that would involve me passing as an active JW. I would have to look the part by being equipped with their stuff, songbook, NWT and the like.

  I appreciate that, peace has been found, now its time to speak out against the WatchTower. They are destroying lives and I am going to do my small part in helping people find out the truth about the troof.

  Found Out I'm a JW urban legend...

  i don't think i've said but i have a sister that's a bit older than me, well actually 9 years older to be exact.

  about a year ago we were discussing our whacked out childhood and she started talking about my mother at meetings sitting with a guy that she was interested in.

  it kind of made sense to me because my parents got divorced around the same time i was born, my father ended up with a live-in girlfriend shortly after, my wife always tells me that couples don't split up unless they have another person in mind.

  If You Could Go Back In Time ...

  assuming you could go back in time, and knowing what you know now, is there anything the 2009 you could say to that person you were while you were one of jehovah's witnesses, that would have gotten you out earlier, or easier?.

  in other words, have you learned anything now, or while you were exiting, that would have made a difference to you while you were a witness?

  and would it make any difference?

  That is an interesting question. I am not sure I could have said anything, my younger me would probably be convinced I was a demon and would run away yelling "JEHOVAH! JEHOVAH! JEHOVAH!". I had to experience a lot and reach a point of bitter depression, once I was there all it took was finding out the WatchTower teaches Jehovah will kill babies at armageddon and not ressurect them.

  Hi, it has been some time since I last posted here. With all that I have going on in my life it is difficult to keep up with the forums, my work, school, werewolf and my social life :D

  I really appreciate the concern and the comments. I didn't realize how touching this video would be to everyone. Honestly it was what I expected but there was part of me hoping she would read my letter.

  There have been many days that I have literally cried over the loss of my mother, friends and other relatives. Today was not one of those days, I have to many good things going on in my life.
