under the article " the faithful steward and it's governing body " there were some very telling quotes which could indicate how the wt society is tightening the control of it's members - and trying to justify more partaking of the emblems at the memorial since the numbers partaking have gone up from about 8,000 to 10,000 since they no longer feel that the sealing of the anointed ended in 1935.. so first off, notice this quote indicating the importance of elevating the governing body over the rest of the anointed around the earth.
paragraph 16 it states , " are all these anointed ones throughout the earth part of a global network that is somehow involved in revealing new spiritual truths ?

You're right Tex. I'm not very good w/empathy, but it does seem to me that I'm good at being annoying and condescending. I can't deny it because if I'm getting that from a lot of people who don't know me, it must be me.

I think the question is poorly phrased. (No disrespect intended) "Psychiatry" is not an individual such that it can understand anything. Is there research done on people who have been brainwashed? Yes. You can look up on bmj.com under the advnced search option any number of articles examining various aspects of these situations. Is being "brain-washed" necessarily the same as suffering from PSTD? No. Not exactly. PSTD deals with issues which are more episodic in nature and the life of a JW isn't exactly an "episode", though some may have suffered some or more than one "episode" as a JW which would count and qualify as part of the experience which could be dealt with via PSTD treatment options. Propranolol is being tested at the moment w/regard to those who have experienced certain stressful events so the emotional content is blunted, though it's not routinely in use at the moment. Too, we have to remember that therapists are not machined at factories. You can't just go to a therapist or a psychologist or a psychiatrist in the same manner that you might go to a JiffyLube. I wish it were that easy, but it's not. I suspect that perhaps regular massages, eating right, getting plenty of sleep and journaling could serve as various tools to enable one to "move on" as it were.

I didn't read everything, but the answer which has probably already been given in in full is that this entity stole from us and is continuimg to steal from people we care about. All that's being done here is talk. How about we get everyone's list of emails they have and sent the complete list as blind copies all the scripturally incorrect things which are being done and have been done by this organization?
