Existence is defined by boundary conditions.
These boundary conditions include those of knowledge as well.
A being might THINK itself to be omniscient, and not actually BE omniscient.

todays watchtower was especially nauseating but during the study one of them made the comment concerning the big a " jehovahs timetable is not contingent on all nations being saturated by the good news".

Evidently... I was a pio-sneer schmelder and I saw what was happening to me and how toxic the literature was so I actually stopped reading it ten years before I left and stuck to reading ONLY the Bible and that changed my attitude and made me realize that there was no moral difference between me and anyone else on the planet and that everyone was doing their best to get by. Of course it's now led me to some serious agnosticism as well. Now I can't even fathom any explanation which seems reasonable or moral for existence of any kind, much less this particular version.

The logical conclusion of what Jehovah is up to according to the WTBS lead many JW's I knew to adopt a rather callous attitude towards so-called "worldly people". Rather than helping people to view people as potential brother's and sisters, the teaching seemed to me at least in my area to be creating among the so-called faithful an attitude that "worldly" people were "Lebensunwertes Leben", the Nazi term "life unworthy of life".

I have a problem with the design of the universe. If the universe simply MUST be based on consumption where things eat each other, then it should be enjoyable for things to be eaten. The ones being eaten should relish the opportunity, but experience no pain on the way, either through pain of waiting to be eaten, or pain of boredom, or lack of fulfillment on the way to becoming the future stools of some other creature.
My design would NOT entail a consumptive universe.

suppose..... a young muslim (non-radical/moderate) in a middle-eastern country has no access to the bible or any form of christianityhe's keenly aware of other non-christian faiths and the loyal adherents of those faithsaside from a blind faith in the koran (and, in turn, allah) he is an intelligent and logical thinkerhe doesn't see any flaws in his reasoning, no matter how illogical it may seem to outsidersokay, now based on the above suppositions..... what kind of introspective thinking might lead him to identify his own flawed reasoning so that he eventually realizes the koran is not a revelation of god?
is such a thing possible?
1. It's demonstrably flawed historically, and geographically.
2. It's clear that the affirmations of Mohammed with regard to so-called "confirmations" of what previous prophets stated is seriously garbled.
3. The principle of abrogation creates confusion insofar as one cannot know the order in which these suras were uttered and these are oftentimes in complete opposition to each other.
from time to time we hear people someone condemn someone or some entity for "playing god.
if it's not morally upright for an individual or an entity to "play god" (we're not talking about identity, because god can't be anything but what s/he/it is), then why is it morally upright for god to "play god"?..
