I agree with you regarding FlowerPetal. Don't know any conversations that went on after I left the chat, but I do know that her strong-headed overtones yet submissive arrogance raised a few brows. That mentality also thoroughly depresses yours truly, especially when they cannot see the source (or can they?)
Anyway, flowerpetal "peed in my cheerios", so that's personally why I didn't give her a fair shake. It was no direct fault of her own, just my frustration at perceived blindness.

Also, let's not kid each other. You know as well as I do that given the chance, you would use your "open experiences" to convert a newcomer should you see fit, and you know it. I've had the same tactics used on me many times before:

Also, I believe flowerpetal is attempting to openly rationalize her personal experiences as a counter argument to the majority's observations, in hopes of justifying her position. It's an irrational defense mechanism inherent in most witnesses I've come accross. Seems to run with the territory.
In english: She seems to be in theocratic defense mode.
I find it fascinating to see this behavior manifest despite the lack of a biblical discussion.

Nice words, but I doubt you would say them to your cong's elders. (As I am sure they would promply correct you on most of these issues.) Perhaps you don't mind being labeled "spiritually week", but I'm sure you will feel pretty bad when people stop talking to you and avoid you like the plague.
I like your attitude though. Too bad that many witnesses would not consider you as taking the FDS seriously.
Thank you for offering further proof that JWs are just another of this world's many religions, as your attitude is a mirror of the opinions of folks in many other protestant churches (that I've come across anyway.)
