  most of the stuff posted here is negative, hateful, and blasphemous against god.

  even if many of you are right in saying that the jws are wrong on many and important issues, that does not make you right.

  so unless you are convinced that there is no biblical god you are facing serious trouble when you die or if the lord comes during your lifetime.

  Misnah:

  As for ianao, this one is a clear example of someone suffering from a tortured mindset. That is why ianao can only reaffirm what others say for him. His thought process is shattered from past experience and there is a certain fear in venturing too far out on your own. It is much safer to just repeat and reaffirm what someone else says. That is why we get the "well said," and "again, well said" replies.

  Taking your bait, I would like to point out that re-affirming what others say is much better than repeating what they say, especially when I agree with what other's say.

  Your psycho-analysis of me is rather amusing though. Now, I will psycho-analize you:

  As for Misnah, this one is a clear example of someone suffering from a deluded mindset. That is why Misnah can only spout reasonings that others have prepared for it. It's thought process is locked from the superstition and mind control of religion and there is a mortal fear in venturing too far out on it's own. It is much safer to just repeat and reaffirm what someone else has taught it to say. That is why we get the same empty arguments from it as from other fundementalists.

  McVeigh vs Death Penalty

  i am a policitcal conservative, at least a fiscal conservative and sociel moderate.

  i support the death penalty, but i agree that our judicial system needs to overhaul how wwe treat criminals to achieve better rehabilitation results.

  and of course, withhold the death penalty in cases where there could be doubt.. in mcveigh's case, i believe that he deserves the death penalty.

  Let them suffer until we run out of room. Then, kill them off as new offenders are brought to justice instead of letting them back out on the streets.

  i am floundering!.

  today my jw son told me that he had seen an email in our family account written to me from an exjw.

  it contained very little, but enough to let him know that i was in contact with outsiders about my doubts and feelings.

  This is really sad! If I told my mother I was going to "tell on her" I would be completely flogged by her and the other members of my family. Then again, if it was my mother, she wouldn't give a rat's butt if I said anything anyway. And if I was under age, I would be in some BIG TROUBLE for many weeks to come.

  Then again, my family doesn't suffer from this JW neurosis, so I was taught to have integrity for my mother and father.

  It would HUMILIATE me to have my mother beg and plead for me to do anything. Good lord.

  Can't do anything but rant LostMyReligion, wouldn't want to be in your shoes.

  i have put in my final day at this year's test of posterior endurance---saturday at the district convention, 2001. i took quite a few notes today, because some had specifically asked about saturday's program.

  i hope all will be suitably edified by them.

  do not just listen to bits and pieces of the program, but to the whole thing.
