  I pioneered brothers parked their BMW and got aride in my 20 year old car?? No support.

  so i pioneered for 10 years in the 1990's it was 90 hours a month with alot of country driving.

  i was shocked when brothers and sisters with full time jobs would park their brand new cars and go witnessing in my 20 year old orange datsun.

  i was barely living on $250 a week as a yeah...window cleaner.

  Their cars were probably leased; meaning they could drive limited miles every year or pay a fee!!

  i was on a jw page recently and some dubs were openly predicting the end of the world in a year.

  mike flynn (trump advisor) mentioned having one religion in america and the dubs went crazy.

  someone even mentioned 1975 on the thread.. it seems to have since been deleted; but there were about 50 comments before i couldn't find it again.

  I was on a JW page recently and some dubs were openly predicting the end of the world in a year. Mike Flynn (trump advisor) mentioned having one religion in america and the dubs went crazy. Someone even mentioned 1975 on the thread.

  It seems to have since been deleted; but there were about 50 comments before I couldn't find it again. Of course, everyone that was commenting appeared to be under 40 YO or a new JW and are not aware of the past.

  i was listening to the co talk to my wife’s congregation on sunday and pretty much the complete talk was justifying doctrinal and organizational changes and pretty much preparing the ‘rank and file’ for upcoming changes.

  anyone on hear have any insight of what ‘new light’ is coming in the future?.

  if i was a jw, and covid put and end to the door to door work for two years, and kingdom halls closed, it would get me to re-visit and think about the stupidity of the overlapping generation, and how they extended the deadline for armageddon to 2072.

  (1992 franz death +80 more years).

  if i was 20 years of age, plus another 80 = 100 years of age for the system to end.

  Great Question!!

  Much of the religion is based on knocking on doors!! It’s a sign of the last days; so a major new understanding would have to be released if they stop it.

  Although, it is the least effective way of making disciples; It’s one of the ways that witnesses earn their salvation along with commenting at the meetings.

  as mentioned in many other post… Most PIMOs will never go out again in service again.

  in the past this was a great place for debate, news and support for ex jws.

  Agreed!!

  Unfortunately; many topics are now RED vs Blue; which is surprising for ex-jay-dubs. Not surprised by the racial slant on many post. It almost expected.

  I enjoy the personal JW and experiences from everyone; but I don’t care about ANYONE’S political beliefs or opinions.

  It’s so sad that everything has to be red or blue! Both parties are seriously flawed; unfortunately most people can’t see it. I feel the (so called) elites are encouraging division among the working class people. The sheep keep taking the bait.

  I think a public official encouraging people to drink bleach(?) is probably one of the biggest atrocities in history! #sarcasm

  because all the evidence in fulfillment of bible prophecy indicates that this corrupt system is due to end in a few years... therefore, as a young person, you will never fulfill any career that this system offers.

  Great post!!!!

  What’s crazy is how sooooooo many witnesses from 30 years ago still believe this. Most of my old friends are on FB and they can tell that I’m inactive from my post. When we had contact at funerals the FIRST thing that they would say is; “U Know We are close to the end!!!!!!”

  I’d just smile or hummn and keep it movin.

  Can you believe this? I wonder if they really believe this BS!

  Bathing Daily Doesn’t Help The Planet

  the new york times as well as other news agencies are reporting that in order to help save the planet we should limit our daily bathing.

  they say daily bathing really because popular in the 20th century because elites decided to impress and use petroleum based soaps and take advantage of their indoor plumbing.

  a lot of this daily bathing ritual was just for show.

  I knew a witness that had a condition called TMAU (trimethylmaneria??). It caused him to have a bad body odor despite bathing several times per day. The brother said how critical it was to bathe or the odor would be worse.

  About 30 years ago I was a passenger in the car and someone at Dodger Stadium had a sign that referenced a WT/awake in 1968 talking about 1975. About 10 years after this point; I actually went to the Bound volumes in a kingdom hall and read the article mentioned above. It was very enlightening. Later I read “Crisis of Conscious” which helped the most! It literally pulled the curtain back on the wizard. “ In search of Christian freedom” and several evil apostate pages helped me. I remember the change engine the generation teaching… That was also a defining moment that helped me redefined my life.
