One can assume that they were like Ray Franz at one time. Moved up in ranks and when they got to the leadership they were still ignorant of many lies but at that point, they were too deep and too old and too uneducated to jump ship. Once at the helm what do they do? Continue decieving themselves and others, who really knows how many of them believe their own crap? But at this point if they leave they end up like Ray, so what is their choice? They won't change and they don't want to free the slaves but will continue this BS lie with more BS. Some may be passive and some may enjoy their power trip like Jaracz. Bottom line is, they force millions to believe a dream. They enjoy the prestige that comes with their position, they travel the world and stay at nice places and eat well, all the things they wouldn't be able to do if they left but surely number of them must know that their teachings are fraud.

Russell wasn't fond of Catholic church, after all the fall of pope in 1798 (capture by the French) had a great significants to Russell. 1799 turned to be the start of the last days and beginning of the end which was to culminate in 1914 with Russell and Co. going to heaven while the earth was to be judged. Today very little is known about Russell by JWs other than that he was the first president of the wtsand that he foretold the the gentile time would end in 1914. Today's dubs don't have a clue about any of Russell's reasonings, none of his caclulations that he used to come up with his bogus dates. Basically JWs don't know anything about Russell, ask a dub what he knows about Russell and they will tell you nothing much really.

Watchtower to Mexican JWs, get your literature from Canada!
by RR inthis just in from the rumor mill.. the society are selling their printing presses in mexico and that the mexican witnesses would now have to get all of their literature from the canadian branch from here on out.
needless to say, the mexican jws are livid.. as you know the society did the same thing with the madrid branch in spain.
as of this past october all literature now comes from the london branch.. rr.

So they print all the magazines in Canada where they have to fill out charity income tax statement each year. Does that mean that they will be able to write off all their additional expenses due to increase in production thus making their yearly income look so much smaller so any of us snooping around looking at their yearly income aren't alarmed by how much money their bringing in? Where will the US/Mexico(?) donations for these publication go? Brooklyn piggy bank where their yearly statements can't be seen by the world? For them to be moving huge machines across borders even though they have free labor everywhere they print, has to be strategic in some way. Obviously Canadian branch isn't more of a central location as it would have been better to print somewheres in mid US (Kansas?) rather than in Georgetown,On. Is there any legal/healthcare or other issues in US and or Mexico that have made them considere moving big part of their printery to Canada?? What's the deal?

That's not true. Maybe depending who the elders are but guys will get asked all the wierd shit as well. They will ask where you were, what you did, what was touched, where, how many times.........
The kid should talk to his GF since she'll have to go through the same BS as he will if he goes forward and tells the elders. If he comes forward by himself, they will interigate her later and he might get reproved while she might get DF for not coming forward first. If he doesn't believe the crap he shouldn't go to the elders since it's really none of their F'n business. If he plans on moving out, that even better. If he moves out of his home territory and never goes to a new cong. the elders won't hunt him down until his perants force the issue - great way to fade IMO. If he does go forward it's probably best if they do it as a couple but really I would advise against telling elders anything.

Same example as above, an athiest finds a new wife and he's excited and in "love" but it has nothing to do with God. This can apply to anyone who finds something they put their trust in be it real or not. If I taught my children there is a bogus god who will protect them all their lives and they will never die even though all others will die around them and all other crap, these kids would also have this good feeling inside for possibly long time until they come to realization that I conned them and that they actually will die and that they don't have any more protection than the rest of mankind. Delusion sometimes is so strong that we ignore the reality and don't want to believe the fact that God is absent in our lives other than only in our head.

Dumb leaders doing stupid things and trying to keep it hidden. It worked pre-internet as it was hard to find evidence but with internet anyone can research and it does show how stupid GB was and still is, the fraud is exposed to the public through the history of wts. The worst thing will be time as someone wrote, they can only tell r&f that the end is just around the corner so many times before they will have to do something drastic - either change 1914 to a newer date, scrap the invisible return of Christ or divide into smaller sects where each sect will fight for the members. Future doesn't look good for wts. 2014 should be interesting year as more dubs should be talking about the 100 years of Christ's presents without anything getting better, actual talking should stimulate some brain activity where more people will actually question this whole invisible return and more will start to awake. Hopefully it won't take too many years after 2014 that there will be a big drop in GB followers.

I can't prove there is a God or there isn't. If there is a God he left his creation to fend for themselves and if any of the bible is tue then one can argue that will be until Christ arrives and cleans house. If and likely possibility is that there is no God and humans do evil things just as animals do evil things to their kinds with the exception that humans developed a thing called conscience/morality.
