I really am completely and utterly shocked at the sheer level of ignorance that this picture is demanding. This is a new low for the WT. Amazing.

DVD "JW's Faith In Action, part 1 Out of Darkness" Omits! Omits! Omits!
by Wasanelder Once ini've been watching the new dvd and it is a bull fest about russell.
i haven't even gotten half way and they already excluded one very important bit of information.
you'll recall that russell "lost" his faith and "turning away from church creeds and searching for truth, russell examined some leading oriental religions, only to find these unsatisfying".

This is a great idea, and i'll be willing to take part.
I used the WT CD to cross reference Revelation 22:12 and you wouldn't believe the amount of times they have changed their interpretation of that!
I made a quick vid on Youtube documenting it if anyone is interested:

Hey there,
so so sorry to hear about your dog. I know for a fact that I would be in complete pieces if my dog died. I have two dogs and they are my soulmates. Last year one almost died after running after a stick and it got stuck in her mouth, but thankfully, she pulled through. I was a complete mess during this time and absolutely nothing mattered to me. Do you find that things that you used to care about now seem so trivial?
I emphasize with you when you say that your dog was your best friend. Many people would not/ do not understand this concept. I'd go so far as to say I would take a bullet in my head for my dogs. It is no wonder you feel very upset. I have a friend who just lost his dog and it is worse than losing someone in your family. The reason why this matters so much to you is because you are a great person who took out a huge section of your life to look after an animal. We take this for granted after we have had pets for many years but the truth is that many people just cant be bothered. Focus on the life you gave him and what he could have had besides you. Perhaps a lifetime of going one rescue home to the next? Perhaps, God forbid, a cruel owner. Not you. You loved him with your entire heart and soul. You cared for him. He could not have had a more better life than what he had. Please try to focus on these words but it will take time. Right now you must be feeling that no other dog can come close to him, but you must think about getting back on the wheel. The thought of owning another dog may seem insulting to his memory but there is another dog out there, waiting for you to help him/her. They could never replace your dog, but he will be forever in your heart.
I hope my words have helped. I cant imagine the grief you feel right now, but I pray you will get through it. Can you remember the times he picked up on your mood and tried to comfort you when you were upset? What would he do right now? How upset will he be to see you so upset? Just as he bounced over to say hello to another dog, he wants you to do the same.
My thoughts and prayers of with you.
Kind regards
Jon

I heard from an American friend that gas prices were at record highs over in the States. They had just paid $3.34 for a gallon of gas, which, here in Britain, is remarkably cheap.
Doing the maths;
1 Gallon = 4.5 litres
$3.34 = £2.06 British pounds
We pay £1.31 per Litre,
£1.31 x 4.5 litres = £5.89 British poundsIf the States had British gas prices, it would be $9.5 dollars per Gallon
In the UK, the government puts 'fuel tax' onto every litre of petrol brought, totaling currently 58.95 pence per litre (almost a dollar per litre)
Now we are hearing that unrest in Libya will result in another hike in oil, and people just cant afford it. Are these riots really the result of people 'having enough' and 'wanting democracy', or rather the result of whispers in the dark to try to whip up public unrest? It's happened before

I try not to make this assumption, but part of me is thinking a big reason the United States bother to send patrols to Pirate endangered waters is not to help the poor buggers being kidnapped; more likely to allow the disposal of waste possible.

Has anybody else heard that the Somali pirates initially began to patrol their cost with help of local militias to warn off Western companies who were dumping deadly chemical wastes into the sea near the Somali cost? Somali fisherman were losing their livlihood and decided to take action - this has been reported in dips and dabs but nothing major. Now of course, as per what happens in most things, greedy people have decided to exploit the situation, but I wonder how many people realize why it all started?
