I'm sure God will have a place for him in heavens...
Great man we ex-jw's will never forget him
i just received word that ray franz passed away today at 1:37 pm eastern daylight time.
the cause of death is stated as head trauma, likely due to falling to the ground, and a stroke could have also been part of the cause or a result of the fall.
he died at emory university hospital in atlanta about 17 minutes after being taken off life support.
I'm sure God will have a place for him in heavens...
Great man we ex-jw's will never forget him
apparently it was painless and without trauma for him.. he deserved that.. .
Ray Franz will always live in our hearts...
over at freeminds we didn't want this day to pass without some recognition of the life and death of ray franz.
in view of his stated wishes not to have a memorial or service we hoped for something that he would have liked for all of us to take a moment over.. .
we owe a note of thanks to v for his graphics work and atjeff for the obituary writing - i know neither of them need mentioned by me.. .
Well done,
it has taken me a long time, but i have finally put together an article outlining how i used the law to force bethel to send me my personal files.
it is a very long article full of scans, so i have linked to it at http://jwfacts.com/watchtower/experiences/personal-files-privacy-act-1988.php.
in brief, in 2006 i requested that bethel send me my files on the basis that the australian privacy act 1988 entitles people to receive a copy of any information a corporation holds about them.
Dude we have similar history...I was disfellowshiped exactly one year after from you...
WT is like FBI they have tones of files of your life
the watchtower has been known for over 130 years as a great scriptural cherry-picker.
they pick out disparate unrelated verses and combine them to support the wackiest of wacky doctrines.. on the other hand there are many scriptures they almost never address, whether because they contradict wt doctrine or because they simply don't have a clue what they mean or how to spin them to the wt advantage.. one of these is revelation 19:1 that mentions a "great crowd" "in heaven.
" the only time it is ever brought up it is dismissed.
I would go the other way round on this topic:
Besides Mathew 24:14 and Mathew 24:45-47, John 3:16, WT ignores the rest of the Bible
disable fear of god.
now if any man have not the spirit of christ, he is none of his.
now if any man have not the spirit of christ, he is none of his.
Thats a long post...
any how as for me I don't fear God anymore, and I guess the reason is Jesus...
it's not too soon to start mentioning that to jw's- let them know that 100 years is a long time and even g-d only made the israelites wander in the wilderness for 40 years, before he brought them to the promised land.
let the doubt begin creeping in and let the jw's know they aren't the only ones with doubts.
i will mention 2014 to jw's from now on- it's a date that the wt hopes the jw's will ignore..
I guess WT will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Jesus INVISIBLE presence....the GB will make a great party, in Beth Sarim Mansion,(inside informations revealed to me that the Org has bought back Judge Jo's Villa) with fireworks, and pop corns, cakes, and CLOWNS....
Yeah about 12 CLOWNS they will make people laugh to death. 12 old Clowns that all they do is making themselves fools, for many years, starting from 1942(after Booze Jo died the GB was formed by Knorr)
at the special assembly day they interviewed a elder who came into the truth in the early 50's he had just signed up for collage and was starting his life at the age of 18 or 19 then he learned the truth.
a elder came to him and asked why he wanted to go to collage when the system's end was so close.
he realized that the elder was right.
He started pioneering due to the fact that the end was SOOOOOOOOOO CLOSE....So 60 years after still the end is CLOOOOOOOOSER...
WT is crap dude...
just got back from memorial.
only went so that i could say to my parents that i had gone and to remind myself why i left.. oh my word!!!
it was sooooo painful.. got there a bit late - it was a couple of minutes into the talk.
Also it was a good chance to reinforce the reason that I left WT 10 year ago....
Boring...boring...boring....

The only good thing about my attendance in the Memorial this year, it was the chance I had to speak to some other "fellow disfellowshiped Witnesses"...
