  Jehovah's Witness converts to Islamic terrorism

  this was a younger brother in one of my prior congregations that i used to go out in field service with in the early 1990's.

  we always had the most enlightening conversations and we went out and did recreational things from time to time.

  he seemed like a normal guy.

  How Many Years have your JW Relatives Shunned You ?

  i felt with newer members coming on and other jw fence sitters lurking it might be a good thing to explain what many of us have had to go through in regards to being shunned, cut off, ostracized from our jw families in an unjust way .

  whether we are dfed or inactive - many of us have shared this same fate and ill treatment.

  for many of us- it makes us stronger, more firmly entrenched that the decision we made to exit the jehovah's witness organization was the correct decision as no organization that claims to be " christian " would ever commit such horrid atrocities or justify it !

  I have been shunned for the last 7 years! I have seen a cousin of mine once, walking in the street, and when he came across me he complete ignore me, although I greet him...

  It is shame to see how the WT brakes human lives...

  the sunday after every memorial they intruduce a new talk, which is the 'special talk'.. this year it's called: "is it later than you think".

  Same old yada yada...the end is near, the end is near...the end is near...

  we don't know when the end will come, but what we are sure that is near....

  Give me a brake, 150 years of false prophecy, they didn't managed to spot a single event in history, but still they are sure the end is near!

  If WT was a bookmaker then you would have lost all of your money following their advice

  jehovah's witnesses to sell buildings, move upstatenew york (wabc) -- in the next few years, brooklyn could see one of the largest turnovers in real estate, all thanks to one seller.

  the jehovah's witnesses are planning to sell all 34 of its buildings as they move their operations upstate.. .

  the scope of the church's holdings is massive, 3.2 million square feet, more than the empire state building.

  WT is a money making Organization. A small example of how they are making money from nothing, it is my personal experience with a KH, that was build upon a land that was donated to the Society by a JW:

  1. I know that K.Halls, usually most of them are build upon a land that was donated to the Society by a JW.
  
  2. The building of a KH, materials ( usually are donated, by JW's who are in the building trade) or bought by contributions by the local JW's.
  
  3. Labor is FREE (JW's do the building for the KH), and since I'm in the Building Industry, Labor is the MOST COSTLY from all above.
  
  The result is the following: We have a KH that was build on a land that was a donation to the WT, (hence WT didn't pay anything for it, or even if they did, again the money came out from the wallets of the local JW's). The material and labor work are contributed FREE to the WT. So here is the juicy part: After the KH is finished, the WT comes and DEMANDS RENT FROM THE LOCAL CONGREGATION or CONGREGATIONS in case 2 or more are using the KH...So why pay rent to the WT, since all the local JW's, bought the land, contribute for the materials and building of the new KH? That was something I couldn't understand (at that time)
  
  I recall that the KH of my territory had the scenario above. The land was a gift to the WT by an elderly JW, (this land only it worth millions now!!!) So we build our KH and at the end of the day we pay for a life time rent to the WT Society. Now that KH there are 4 congregations using it. So the WT gets rent from all of them!!! Now supposed the WT decides to sell the KH for sure the money will go to the WT's cashier box, and not to the local congregations. And if the WT find a cheaper place to build the new KH, for sure the local JW's will pay again for buying the land and build their KH...

  I'm sure that they will make billions again and cash will flow to WT's cashiers box!!!

  I guess the growing Organization, is loosing the game, so they will just get advantage of their assets

  Well I don't believe in reincarnation...I believe in the reborn of the Human Soul. But since it is a funny topic, I would say he is Rutherford who is leading JW's in the War of Armaggedon against the Political system of this world!!!

  They are not isnpired, but they are directed by the Holy Spirit, thus they can fail to predict any prophecy and still be "God's mouthpiece" since they are only DIRECTED and not inspired!!!

  Does this makes any sense to you?

  my adorable little son is very excited about christmas.

  i have not made a big thing about it, but he must have picked up the christmas spirit from what he is seeing in the shops and on tv.

  he loves the music, and movies and all the decorations.

  It is good that you told him that is a story and indeed that's the way it is. Just let him to enjoy the Chrismas spirit and eventually he will grow and realize the true behind this. He is only 4, let his imagination fly...
