  Family is now reaping what they sowed and they don't like it.

  i resigned from the jw's in my 20's over 30 years ago, i was immediately shunned by my entire family and it's remained that way with a few exceptions ever since.

  one of those exceptions was being contacted by a cousin a few years back and during that conversation i discovered that my mother had been and still was the prime mover in my complete and continuing shunning.

  i then used what contacts i had left to confirm it.

  3rdgen, this WT....always receive and NEVER give...well, apparently now they have to give a lot, since lawsuits are keep flooding all over US, Europe, Australia. Is time for payback. Other Churches they help their elderly, while WT, doesn't give a damn about them.

  ok so this is a topic i've pondered and go back and forth on.. i can easily see a point where lawsuits cause massive deficits in the organization.

  honestly i feel like we are seeing the tip of the iceberg in regards to lawsuits on child abuse.

  to me it looks like the property sell offs are to be able to get ready for this.

  WT, will collapse, and the countdown started. Their constant dogmatic changes, the attitude of their GB who think they are Gods, their arrogance, the fact that they insist to keep JW's uneducated, and this will result less income to the Corporation. The insanity of the GB, and cult like behaviour, dishonesty, that is been exposed in a massive scale by the media, specially with child abuse all over the world, is draining WT members. They have been constantly exposed to courts and committees the last few years for covering paedophiles, and showing that they are worse from the Catholic Church in that issue. The selling of Kingdom Halls all over U.S and Europe, they stopped printing magazines and books, the constant plea for donations through their Broadcast, from GB members, (while wearing $20,000 gold Rolexes), showing that they need money to pay the lawsuits. The last few years more than 1,200.000 left the Org, and they have no increase. In fact they more Ex- JW's from JW's. And now there is a court case in Canada, from a disfellowshiped JW, against WT for violating human rights with the practice of shunning. It's only a matter of time that they will start paying lawsuits for the disfellowshiped ones. WT is going down, because they are sawing what they reap. They gave hatred, pain, death to many humans because of their policies, they have been the Champions of false prophecy, for over 150 years, and now it's time to pay for their sins.

  suffice to say that i fundamentally disagree with the point of this article, a cynical attempt to boost numbers.

  it goes against bible precedent and their own long standing practice.

  they timothy as an example of a youthfull christian, a young man.. sure but he was not baptized young .

  Very disturbing article. I was shocked to hear the comments from the Bethelite, that a 10 year old is liable for a criminal act. WT are Masters for mind control. So in the subconscious mind of those JW's listening to this example, is dictating what they should with their 10 year old children. Disgusting cult like mentality

  i went back to the borg, for family reasons and the concept was after a year or so to fade out.

  i m into the fade out process now.

  I wasn't so sure how to add title in this topic. I went back to the Borg, for family reasons and the concept was after a year or so to fade out. I m into the fade out process now. Does any one know, how to "change" congregation and loose the publisher files during the relocation? Just to avoid, unnecessary comments, I live alone, while my family members are in another country, so I don't give to anyone any account about my actions. The reason I went back, was purely for my elderly parents.

  If only I could turn back time and left that stupid cult when I was 19. I left when I was 33, it cost me to loose my family. There is no unconditional love in there. Your family, relatives, friends, they will love you as long as you follow WT. Just go and never look back. You are young, you have a life in front of you. Live every moment. Take my advice from someone who could be your father and has suffered pain and wounds that never have been healed due to WT's policies

  for almost 12 years now, i have been coming to this site on a regular basis and in the last 5, i “faded out”.

  i never regretted this and never will.

  unfortunately though, yesterday, i realized that, until i can publically tell all my old acquaintances why i have left, i will never be truly free.

  it's fun times for us spurs fans.

  we're playing great football, are sensible at the back and are beating top teams in england and abroad - teams such as man united, liverpool and real madrid.

  we're in the qfs of the fa cup, are progressing nicely in the champions league, and are competing for a top four finish in the premier league.
