Arsene Wenger, you are so delusional you could be a member of the GB
by LoveUniHateExams init's fun times for us spurs fans.
we're playing great football, are sensible at the back and are beating top teams in england and abroad - teams such as man united, liverpool and real madrid.
we're in the qfs of the fa cup, are progressing nicely in the champions league, and are competing for a top four finish in the premier league.

Free to sin but still cannot bring myself to do it
by sinboi inhave da'd myself nearly 3 months ago.
now i am part of this world but i feel myself the odd one out.
something inside me is still blocking me to do the things i have been longing to do while i was still a jw, such as attending birthday parties, sex, etc.... just last nite, i was on the way to attend a birthday party.

It depends how do you define "sin". Yes when I left I did attend to birthday parties, I have attend to other Christians Churches as well, been to Buddhist Temple, so from WT perspective view it is sin.
But I kept my moral standards, since I believe what Jesus said about fornication, lying etc. I didn't try any drugs, or any other bad behavior
On the other hand I have some wordly friends who become and are JW's that saved their lives being in the Org. They used be heavy drug users, immoral life, (they would have died either from drugs or sexually transmitted decease)
A common mistake that some ex-Jw's are doing is trying to do what WT prohibits. This is not the way to see things, I have followed a mainstream Christian faith, (Babylon the Great) but still I kept my high standards, And one thing WT likes to point out against ex-Jw's is that they left a moral way of living and become evil and immoral.

London K.H.'s - Which Ones Will Be Sold Off?
by The Searcher inaccording to the org's website, various congregations will be moving in with other congregations, effective january 1st 2017.
(i've only highlighted a couple) in all probability, their own k.h.
is/has been sold.

@darkspliver, the price is not bad if you take into consideration that is in Wales, and the value of the property market there is quite low, comparing to what you need to pay for London and Greater London

Looking at the KH and the locations that they are for sale this will generate a lot of £££ to the Org...Very clever business move by "God's Earthly Representative"
So if we take also into consideration the following:
a. No labor cost to build them since is all by JW's volunteers
b. Those properties that converted to KH again the same principle applies
c. The purchase was basically a large portion of it by donations
The outcome is very impressive how much money does the Org gets!!!
Also don't forget the monthly contribution for the KH that you might have 3 different congregation using the same building!!
God that's a lot of cash.
Indeed "God" £££ is blessing them

So before the elders take any action, they have to contact Bethel and inform what is the problem, wait guidance from Bethel and then take the next steps....

My return to the WT...a terrible mistake
by JustHuman14 ini haven't posted for quite a bit, decided to share my thoughts on this one, so it is a reference topic for anyone who decides to return back to the org, knowing all about the tatt.
being way for quite long for almost 15 years and all wt's activities, i have missed quite a lot including the "new light" latest updates, i found it quite hard to follow up what was going on to the meetings.
new songs, wt broadcast, videos, internet (so wt now is in favor of the internet) cartoons, and everything seemed completely new and weird to me.. reason for going back it was the severe pressure from close family members to return back to the "truth".

Hi Chook,
The reason I went back it was not to loose contact with my young at age son and I'm into the fading process now. Regarding my current believes I'm spiritual person, I believe in a Creator, for sure I don't believe the Old Testament and parts of the New, I consider my Christ's follower (I will not go through the Divine or supernatural nature of Christ), since I believe what he teach, the simple universal law of love. I don't have faith in any institution, or religion, and specially the WT, which I consider them as mind control cult, like Mormons.

to date JWism has defined my life and i hate that TRUTH
by oompa inand i am finding the adjustment to the real world far more difficult than i ever imagined...i f...it has been about five years since i totally woke up to the fraudulant nwt and then all my other doubts i had carried for years were proved true as well.
but almost all of my few friends are exjw or slack jw's and i feel so isolated...my sons friends are mostly exjw too but not their gf's and they have way more normal friends .
how have you done at replacing lifelong friends and family?
-
JustHuman14
I'm so glad to see that still he is remembered.
Diogenesister,
I believe it would be great if we all could create a charity for ex-jw victims. I had 2 other JW friends who committed suicide and with oompa is 3. I don't know how many of you have similar experience, that you know at least one person who committed suicide, it looks like jw's aren't the happiest people on earth

Charles T Russell -a freemason and the connection to the illuminati...
by dolphman inok, i'm not one for conspiracy theories but lately i've uncovered some interesting facts that i think warrant some attention.. first of all, russell was a freemason.
all the early watchtower and books he authored have freemason symbology and art throughout them.
not a big deal i thought, until i read more about freemasons and the so-called "illuminati", a group of 13 families that supposedly control the world.. supposedly these 13 families, such as the duponts, mcdonalds, kennedys, .

Pyramidology is a form of Occult and Russell was deep into that
