My sister passed away this evening

it was only about two months ago she was diagnosed with lung cancer and she was a non smoker .. she was never a jw and she never held it against me that i was for 33 years.. we had a good relationship even though we lived in different states about 2000 miles apart,.. tears are rolling down my cheeks as i type this .

My story

i came across this website when i was looking for some emotional/mental support lately as i was summoned by elders to explain someone’s report on me saying “i’m promoting homosexuality”.

i’m inactive, not attending meetings or associating with jw outside of my biological family for almost 2 years now.. yes i am gay (you can judge away) and yes it is in a direct contrast to the scriptures, no arguement about it.. i was brought up in a jw family.

my dad is a typical zealot, he literally talks or thinks about the bible 24/7.

Hi Leeny. Just be your self and follow your heart. WT's God is a Jewish fictional imagery god, full of hatred and revenge. That's why many JWs can't feel any connection with him. If you read the Old Testament, you will realize that is full of violence, contradictions with History and Science facts, a book that was written 3500 thousand years ago by a bunch of misogynistic nomads living in the desert. That's what it is. Jesus He never condemned anyone, except the self righteous religious Jewish leaders, that apparently the Governing Body of the WT, is acting exactly the same. Being gay is something that is in your nature. I' m not gay but I have gay friends and they are the most lovely people to associate with. Just leave WT behind and live your life. My life was destroyed by the WT, when I left almost 16 years ago. Lost family, friends, with no education, kicked out in the streets because I told them the Truth about the Truth. Never managed to get on my feet. If you found love then cling to it, you are very lucky.

So here we have, a sinister cult, that the founder ordered killing anyone who doesn't follow him, asked his followers to do so, not to mention that its acceptable to use women that have been captured in the war as spoils, as sex slaves. While under the sharia law, a woman is just an object, a sex pleasure for man, and eventually has no any rights. He was married with a 9 year old, oh yeah he was engaged while she was 6, and this doesn't make him a paedophile. And the rest of the world, has no right to speak the facts or point the errors, because the followers of that cult will be offended...does it makes sense???

with more and more kh's being sold off, will it only be a matter of time that there will be a push to build new ones?

greater emphasis on donating to build new kh's since some brothers have to drive long distances to attend meetings?

and that smaller communities should have a local kh that is visible to all in the area?.

I believe WT is rapidly coming to an end. From statistics we know that just the last 10 years, they have lost over 1.2 million members! It takes 20,000 hours to convert a new JW, and the only ones that they managed to baptize is only their 10 year old children. You can see their KH halls empty, and from merging congregations and selling KH, the numbers they claim that they have, I doubt if they are real. What they will do, is to liquidate their assets, and deposit the money in Cayman Islands. They know their time is running out. It's hard times for cults!

I lost in touch with WT for almost 2 decades! Then I came across with John Cedars YouTube channel and I have seen the GB Members on their TV show! Man, I couldn't believe my eyes. Gold Rolex watches, a GB member that looks like a character of Jim Henson's Muppet Show, another guy from GB, throwing bread in the bin, smashing glasses on the floor. And one other GB, proclaiming war against tide pants!!!! While another lunatic claiming that Jehovah trusts the GB and so we should to the same!!!! I mean are they living in the real world these guys!!!!????

i resigned from the jw's in my 20's over 30 years ago, i was immediately shunned by my entire family and it's remained that way with a few exceptions ever since.

one of those exceptions was being contacted by a cousin a few years back and during that conversation i discovered that my mother had been and still was the prime mover in my complete and continuing shunning.

i then used what contacts i had left to confirm it.

3rdgen, this WT....always receive and NEVER give...well, apparently now they have to give a lot, since lawsuits are keep flooding all over US, Europe, Australia. Is time for payback. Other Churches they help their elderly, while WT, doesn't give a damn about them.

ok so this is a topic i've pondered and go back and forth on.. i can easily see a point where lawsuits cause massive deficits in the organization.

honestly i feel like we are seeing the tip of the iceberg in regards to lawsuits on child abuse.

to me it looks like the property sell offs are to be able to get ready for this.

WT, will collapse, and the countdown started. Their constant dogmatic changes, the attitude of their GB who think they are Gods, their arrogance, the fact that they insist to keep JW's uneducated, and this will result less income to the Corporation. The insanity of the GB, and cult like behaviour, dishonesty, that is been exposed in a massive scale by the media, specially with child abuse all over the world, is draining WT members. They have been constantly exposed to courts and committees the last few years for covering paedophiles, and showing that they are worse from the Catholic Church in that issue. The selling of Kingdom Halls all over U.S and Europe, they stopped printing magazines and books, the constant plea for donations through their Broadcast, from GB members, (while wearing $20,000 gold Rolexes), showing that they need money to pay the lawsuits. The last few years more than 1,200.000 left the Org, and they have no increase. In fact they more Ex- JW's from JW's. And now there is a court case in Canada, from a disfellowshiped JW, against WT for violating human rights with the practice of shunning. It's only a matter of time that they will start paying lawsuits for the disfellowshiped ones. WT is going down, because they are sawing what they reap. They gave hatred, pain, death to many humans because of their policies, they have been the Champions of false prophecy, for over 150 years, and now it's time to pay for their sins.

Very disturbing article. I was shocked to hear the comments from the Bethelite, that a 10 year old is liable for a criminal act. WT are Masters for mind control. So in the subconscious mind of those JW's listening to this example, is dictating what they should with their 10 year old children. Disgusting cult like mentality

Suggestions how to fade out/ changing congregation and loosing your files

i went back to the borg, for family reasons and the concept was after a year or so to fade out.

i m into the fade out process now.
