I saw My Little Eye a couple of weeks ago. Very good if a little sick towards the end. Kinda like Big Brother gone wrong.

I'm waiting to see 28 Days Later, the new one by Danny Boyle. Btw, it's not the sequel to the Sandra Bullock flick.

i recently mentioned that my ex-wife cindy had lost her father in very unpleasant circumstances.
i spoke to her yesterday, and she gave me some information that i would like to share.
hopefully, i can garner some useful information here that i can pass on to her via an email link to this site.. cindy's aged father was a devout jw.

I'm thinking that if her father refused to say, answer the phone to her etc then how could she have known he had been dead for 4 days. She would have probably thought that he was just ignoring her calls.

now that you know about the truth of the blood doctrine, would you feel, even a little bit uncomfortable agreeing to take a blood transfusion?
btw, my mother asked me if i would still honor her wishes for refusal of blood.
i told her that even though my view has changed, i would respect her decision, even if i felt that it was wrong.
This is sorta on the subject.
But recently I found out the truth regarding what happended to an elder's daughter from my old cong when she went into hospital. This was about 2-3 years ago I think.
Well, she had a blood transfusion but it was said that it was a forced one. Of course I just found out that it wasn't forced at all, in fact the elder father had wanted one for her. The sick thing is that nothing was done about it even though she was baptized.
It was the usual one rule for elders and another for the rank and file.
Just thought I'd let you all know. Although I imagine you guys all know similar examples.

my daughter has just picked up her latest copy of the magazine for teenage girls 'sugar' said to be britian's best selling magazine for girls of that age.
(nov 2002 issue).
she came and showed me an article in it, a two page spread, headlined 'i put my sex abuse dad in prison', the true story of a girl called alison who suffered years of sexxual abuse from her dad 'cus nobody believed her.. yes, you guessed it!
Is this the same Alison as featured in Panorama?
