here it is, it took me two days to write and therefore nobody should actually be able to read it.. the purpose of writing a story like mine down serves two purposes.
first, i must find a coherent understanding and explanation of the events that have befallen me.
second, i hope that my story helps others in some way, to let them know that there is indeed "light at the end of the tunnel.

oh, yeah, your god's law... as if your religion and god is the only one out there.
good advice, but it's pretty obvious.

US 'holy rock' judge suspended
An Alabama judicial ethics panel has suspended the state's chief justice Roy Moore over his refusal to remove a granite monument to the Ten Commandments from his court house.
Mr Moore has vowed to appeal to the US Supreme Court to keep the monument in public view.
He was suspended with pay pending the examination of a complaint accusing him of misconduct for defying a federal court order to remove the monument.
Assessing the complaint, the Alabama judicial court will hold a trial-like proceeding. It has the power to discipline and remove judges.
Mr Moore had the monument installed at the court building in the state capital Montgomery in July 2001.
Mr Moore argues that the block acknowledges God as the foundation of the law.
Supporters
He has become a hero to the religious right in America - many have travelled to Alabama from other states to support him.
The issue is polarising opinion between those who believe the monument violates the constitutional safeguards separating Church and state and those who believe it is their constitutional right to honour their God.
Crowds of people, praying and singing hymns, have remained at the court house.
The United States Supreme Court declined to intervene when Mr Moore earlier asked it to overturn a deadline for the monument to be removed by midnight Wednesday (0500 GMT Thursday).
God and law
A federal judge had ruled the monument violated the US constitution's ban on government establishment of religion and must be removed from its public place.
The ruling was backed by Alabama Supreme Court associate justices.
The BBC's David Bamford in Washington says most Americans are, by nature, religious even if separation of state and religion is enshrined in the First Amendment of the Constitution.
He says the Declaration of Independence refers to God, every dollar bill states "In God We Trust" and a majority of people claim membership of a church, not least every recent president.
But for the last 30 years, the evangelical movement has become a driving force of the Republican right.
It is this politicisation of religion that has ignited bitter feuding around not just issues such as abortion and gay rights but also whether a courthouse in a Bible-belt state can display the Ten Commandments, our correspondent says.

i've often felt that the most objective person in a situation is the one who has no stake in the outcome.
this holds true to religious issues as well.
we all know freddie franz translated john 1:1 as "the word was [a] god" and the rest of the christian world flew through the roof.
John was saying Jesus was God in as much the same way I say Dave Grohl is God after an excellent Foo Fighters gig.
.....we just watched a scary film - the ring anyone else seen it?.
its about a video tape that you watch and then seven days later you die!
(this wont spoil it if you've not seen it because thats what it says on the box!).
I enjoyed Roadkill (Joyride in the US).
The dvd has 5 alternate endings including one 30min one.
Battle Royale was great if a little bloody. I don't think it's had a proper release in the US has it? I'm not surprised going by the subject matter.

my 10 do's and dont's when witnessing to jws seems to be popular.
let me know how you like them and if you have any other methods that you use that seem to work well.. tower man.

Some of those suggestions would be good for those who are currently seen as inactive or who were born into it but not dunked. I dunno if I would have much luck with someone who wasn't family but it's worth a shot I suppose.
I liked this one:
4) Ask them to “help” you- Witnesses are trained to help people and answer their questions. Ask questions such as, “Can you help me? I have a question about some of the teachings of the Watchtower Society.” By doing this, instead of battling against their training, you will be using their training to your advantage.
I would probably ask "can you explain this to me?" or something similar
You can then see to what extent they know about the subject. Then you can get back to them with something from their own publications they may plant a seed of doubt.
I think the important point is getting them to come to the conclusion themselves. It's harder to throw away a nagging feeling if it's your own.

Country Girl,
If you can, get hold of Dark Water by the same guy as Ringu. There's one scene near the end that scared the crap out of me and it just seemed to go on forever. My heart was in my throat the whole time.

BigTex,
Should be able to. The Japanese (and imo superior) original is called Ring or Ringu and the the US (still good) remake is called The Ring.
