That's a good observation and I concur with OTWO. Right, I would have been more than glad to be of help, take you around to see various autos before you settle down to a great choice. But Iam in a different state. For now, everything looks great on your side, and personal satisfaction is the key. Please, keep us updated how the car works for you during winter seassion.

Do you feel that 103,000 mileage is worth the cost of $9000? I think, you would have gone for a car with 42k milleage. Regardless, I will respect that decision you made. One of the the key factor in auto purchase decision is the mileage. The lower, the better. Please, did you give thought to this issue? I hope so.

By the way, is not that $173 million above inaccurate? If we can obtain a breakdown, we would be able to know the actual expenses. It’s possible the Watchtower is exaggerating to showcase both the need for more financial assistance aka contributons and its non-profit, non -taxing status.

I really like that above. Dagney, many ways to go. All other posters on this thread provide insightful perspective. I never knew the full extent of Jehovah's Witnesses's dependency on welfare to finance their questionable preaching activities. I vividly recall reading 'Simplify one's life to preach more hours' as being a common phrase in many of the Watchtower's publications.

when i read coc, i was stunned that the 2 elders (theotis french & rob dibble) were on ray franz judcial committee.
i have known these men for over 20 years having done rbc and convention work with them.
they are still elders today which means they were in their early 30's(which is unheard of for a case of this importance to have inexperienced elders to sit on) on this committee.. without revealing myself, i have never tried(but have wanted to), ask them about their on having to judge a former gb member.. then out of the blue, about a year ago, i was mentioning how hard it is trying to get younger ones to volunteer to one of these elders, and he says"this is nothing compared to to sitting on the committee that had to disfellowship ray franz".
