Well, here is a catch word. Quoting selective worldly literature is designed to support and reinforce the WTBS's distorted point of view. The aim is to control people's mind and maintain its grip on their thinking abilities and freedom, the cult way. Iam happy Hurbert is taking a second look. Any question, just bring it up in this thread. There are so many people on this site with extensive knowledge about the history of the WTBS and the harm it done on them. I confess I was also brainshed before.Its only much recently that I started examinginig the practices of this secretive cult mainly from my own personal experiences,some of them very terible and heartbreaking as well as interactions with many JW's including physical visit to the Bethel facilities in New York State.

Watchtower Farms Cemetery gravestone photos - sad

i am posting the photos because i get sad sometimes about people being forgotten who tried so hard, even though they were wrong.
the cemetery is pretty easy to find, if you have any interest in finding it.

Well, many thanks for the photos. I think the "Launching Pad" conveys the idea of an individual being interred as going to either heaven to rule with Jesus in his heavely kingdom or to paradise earth like when he or she is resurrected. Hence those tombs are the "Launching Pad" to the blissfull place. Aha, I may be going to far but think of a NASA Launching Pad for Rockets. That idea. I may correct or wrong but that is what I think of. By the way, does anyone knows Maria E. Mapula? What happened to her? Not sure if she died in old ages.

Granted, this opinion was taken from the article "Medical cannibalism" appearing in the Encyclopœdia of Religion and Ethics, edited by James Hastings (Volume 3, page 199), which it referred to and quoted from in its next paragraph. While the response included this comparison in an attempt to be balanced and informative, it also had the potential to offend and distract from the deciding power of the conscience also presented in the same Questions From Readers. Therefore the comparison to cannibalism proved to be unfortunate.
What I have done is copy a statement from that infamous website from the link provided in English. Please notice carefully the WTBS was quoting from worldly sources to strengthen its distorted point of view regarding transplant. This is certainly hypocritical to say the least. How comes they use worldly literatures which they so much distrust? Unfortunately, there are thousands of individuals who have been easily misread or carried away and who are not able to figure out the hard stuff. Iam glad Debbie was not one of them.

so i had lunch with a dub friend i THOUGHT was a fader......oops.......
by oompa ina buddy for over twenty years who only goes to meetings once or twice a month....has a stach and big goatee....so no parts or privleges and does not go in service...nor his wife.....now his wife and i have had fun for years rolling our eyes at stoopid wt teachings...and even talked a bit about things we do not agree with.......so he knows i have not been for a long while until recently cause he was at one of the meetings i went to......but when i brought up some of the issues that caused my loss of faith...he was a bit defensive of the borg!....said he needed to do better?!?!
?....admitted many of the changes kinds sucked, but he seems to work through it in his mind.......i was soooo hoping we would hit it off again, but damm if he is still mentally in i guess.....just super slack!...........oompa.

I am wondering, what would happen to those who finally leaves the WTS only to find themelves in worse situation. The absense of a social support network certainly makes these individual easy prey of the WTS.
