Wow ...Anderson Cooper should do a show on JW's
by Quarterback injust watched the anderson cooper show on the flds.
they are really messed up, and make jw's look like angels.. he should do one on the org and the shunning, and pressure not to go to university issues..

hubby is a die hard jw who is an ms and would like to be elder.

my now husband was df'd on september 13, 2009 and i was officially canned on september 15, 2009!.
it has been a long road and if any of you remember, we initially came on this board looking for help to get reinstated.that is a huge laugh now, hey!

by tec ini would like to share some understanding i received today, and i would like to share the understanding first and then the scientific understanding.
as the faithful understand, we are spirit 'underneath' our flesh.
i put underneath in quotations because that's not quite the right word.

That is what I believe, too.
Anyway, for believers, all that contention and arguing over physical resurrection or spiritual ascension for NOTHING.
That's why I don't get too involved in some of the debates here.

I have found this site to be a great place to ask questions freely and have them answered.
Many posters provide links to articles and websites that authenticate their claims, thus you can make informed decisions for yourself.

Not all are athiests.
Most have left the JW's, although there is the odd one who is still a JW. Most are just trying to find their way.
We have a wide variety of views and all are welcome.
What brought you here? If you don't mind me asking....
