I heard that in the South US, K-Halls were still segregated until sometime in the '70's.
BTW, Amazing: I am new here and have been reading alot. I am in the middle of your Justice series. Quite interesting. Thank you for the effort you put into it.
it has come to my attention that there was a time when the wt magazine or some other wt.
publication actually printed an article(s) relating to black people being 'cursed' or unworthy of gods blessing.. .
if so, is there any reliable copies of this text?.

recently it's come to my attention that the other teens in my congragation are being pressured by their parents to pioneer.
the main problem is that, like me, they're all "apostates".
because of this amusing turn of events, i'm thinking about starting my own apostate pioneering group with them.
Clearly, you would be going to the people who need you the most......
these are couples that i know personally.. a brother i know married a sister 36 years older than him.
he was 35, she was 71. they are still married 5 years later.
they do not get along, and they make that known to the entire hall.. a brother that has been married twice and is 50 years old recently married a 19-year old.
NO, I'm not married to him anymore. Couldn't take it any longer. I haven't missed anything about him from the second I left.
does anybody have a list of convention dates and a hi-res scan of a convention badge?.
i remember all of those talks about behaving at assemblies and all of those talks about setting a good example.. .
what if people were to go to an assembly, looking exactly like a jw, but behaving like a jw could never get away with?.
Oh, Wobble!
Random Applause.......You made me belly-laugh while I'm at work!!

WOW, Nowman.
You're lucky your parents took that stand. Mine didn't. I married a 30 year old man when I was 17. He never even asked me. He asked my dad, and my dad said, "Yes, lets go get a ring now!" And they did.
i was df'd for moving in with my then boyfriend (now husband).
that was ten years ago.. my husband and i lived together for about 5 and a half years before we got married.
from day one we both talked about getting married and having children in the future but we wanted it to be something more special than a quick juant to a registry office for appearances sake.
I am living with someone right now and df'ed for it. But I'm telling you, it just FEELS right. Like this is where I'm supposed to be, this is who I'm supposed to be with. He would marry me today, but I am afraid. I don't know of what, really. I guess because of my first marriage. I don't really feel that it's wrong to be with him, though, since he always makes me feel good about myself, encourages me to be better than I think I can be on my own. And I think I do the same for him. It's much more of a partnership than my first marriage was. Ya, I'm not sure why I'm afraid to marry him.....
All I know is it was working last week. And now I have no way to turn pages.
How do I get onto the second page of a topic? There used to be a way to do it, but it's disappeared.
Yes, I can't get onto the second page of any of the topics. And it's a whole new procedure for posting a reply. It wouldn't allow me to put anything in the conversation box. Thanks for replying, blondie, or I would have been screwed. What's going on?
