IF it is NOT wise for a man to be ALONE with a woman he's NOT married to
by Spike Tassel insola scriptura answered andersonsinfo:.
the wt leadership has hammered into all of it's elders and rank & file's heads, that it is not wise for a man to be alone with a woman he is not married too (adult or young woman... ie 14).
even in congregation sanctioned duties.. so, why, then, do so many service pairings involve just that: a brother alone in the territory (even if it's to make a call) with a sister he's not married to?.

explain the inexplicable?
by highdose inover the past few weeks there have been some werid things happening in my life, several times in fact.. what has happened ( without having to explain every situ) is that i have been lets say person a looking for situation b, and suddenly and without trying i have met situation b who is looking for person a. this has happened very ramdomly and i couldn't say that there was any serious intent behind it except that i had a desire to find somthing at the same time as someone else and somehow we ended up finding eachother... but we met without trying in a utterly ramdom way???.
theories?
and don't say its god becuase i've spent night after night in my past in tears begging, pleading with god to do somthing, and nothing nothing has happened!.

Hi Spike,
You quote Paul, "it is well for a man not to touch a woman."
He was recommending singleness for those who felt they could manage in life alone, and also wanted to devote more time to God.
I think you are having trouble managing life alone. I think you like devoting time to God.
Is it your intention to remain single?
If so, then I think it would be unfair to expect a woman to have the kind of close relationship you describe (sharing thoughts and feelings) and not have the physical intimacies of marriage, as well. It's a natural progression. It's how we were made.
Perhaps you are a little unrealistic in your expectations, or perhaps over-thinking it.
Respectfully,

Ouija Board Hysteria
by Megachusen ini always wondered why jw's were always so afraid of ouija(pronounced as "wee-yaw" not "wee-gee") boards.
does anyone have any speculation about who started these jw myths?.
anyone who has actually tried the board and would like to give their opinions are welcome.

It's hard for me to believe all 6 of us in the car imagining the same happenings, imagining the same smell, imagining the same book not burning.
You MIGHT be able to convince me that the car's circuitry went wonky 4 days in a row and never again, but all of it put together.....

The Faithful Slave - His Story - History
by Son of Man ini do nothing of my own accord........ as i make my way into work i see everyone glued to the television in the conference room listening to reports of an attack by terrorists in the united states.
video is being played over and over again showing how the airplanes flew directly into the twin towers.
and thereafter the buildings do colapse.

Your chance!!!........ to tell us your Mission Statement in life !
by caliber inmission statement is a brief written statement of the purpose of a company or organization.
ideally, a mission statement guides the actions of the organization, spells out its overall goal, provides a sense of direction, and guides decision making for all levels of management.. the mission statement of an organization is a short but complete description of the overall purpose and intentions of that organization.
it states what is to be achieved, but not how this should be done.. i will call it.... the three v's.... visions, values & views... what is your personal mission statement ?.

1. "First, do no harm."
2. "My house is clean enough to be healthy, dirty enough to be happy."
3. "Always make your words simple and sweet, because you may have to eat them one day."
I learned a good lesson from another person quite a few years ago. She walked around with a big smile, and often said, "Hi!" to people passing her. It amazed me how people responded. There was the odd one who looked at her like she was nuts, but most people would smile back, you could see their whole demeanor change.
I copied her and now it feels completely natural to me to walk around with a smile! Even when I don't feel like it, it puts me in a better mood.
I have to walk through a mall to get to my office and one day, someone in the mall asked the doctor I work for, "Does that smiling girl work for you?" Yesterday, someone asked him, "Whats the matter with your receptionist? She wasn't smiling this morning." He laughed and said, "Oh, she's got a cold and isn't feeling good today."
I recommend walking around with a smile everywhere you go!!

No, blue, I can't watch the video right now. Later, I will.
Mega, I have also had the TV turn off suddenly and such, but this was quite different.
I did do some research and I found out that sometimes a bad smell is associated with these kinds of experiences. i don't know why or how. I only know I physically smelled it.

Mega,
I don't have an explanation for it. I'm only saying what I experienced. If the pentagram is significant to you, then fine. But as a kid, I had no idea what it was. It was only when I got older that I realized what was on the book. So the fact that it was a pentagram on it, would not have influenced my thinking on what had happened. (At that time.)
As I said, I have no explanation, only stating what I saw, etc.
If you have an explanation, I would love to hear it.
