i love how on seinfeld the always had funny "rules" for everything....esp sex, dating, relationships...... i had a friend tell me the other day she always thought it stupid that people say not to run out and get another pet if one you love dies...that it makes you feel better and can save a rescued animal and give it a loving home....so why wait?.

radio psyche dr laura says wait two years after a big relationship before starting another which i think is way too long...but i get her drift and no i am not a fan of hers but drive a lot and do catch here sometimes.

then another friend told me that the best way to get over a girl/guy is to get under one!....lol...........so i guess everybody is really different and has their take on this..............oompa.

Ya, I just knew I had to do some things differently. I was hoping to NOT be in a relationship so soon, I would've like some more time to myself, but when someone waits 10 years foryou, you feel kind of selfish asking them to wait a few more......

But I will never let another man run rough-shod over me like I let my ex. The only reason I've given this one a shot so soon is because I don't think he would ever do that to me. He hasn't so far, and it's been more than a year.

Fingers crossed......blows on the dice......kisses the cards.....Ya, I'm a gambler....

I think when a relationship fails, there's responsibility on both sides.

Before you start a new one, figure out how YOU were responsible for the failure.

Now, DON"T do that with the next one.

I'm doing things COMPLETELY different with this relationship than I did with my marriage. (Hopefully, that doesn't mean I will make COMPLETELY different mistakes.........)

**sigh** It's all really a big crap shoot.....
