My wife and I worked at a number of Embassies from 2001 to 2006 and there were civilian american workers who were engaged in covert religious activity, Mormons, JW's and Baptist were all doing this, The Mormons had connections with old KGB personnell to try to establish their beachhead there but JW's Catholic's and Baptist were all public enemy number 1 with Russians. I could tell stories about the JW underground using Dip. channels to get things in and out but am a little paranoid to do so on any forum.

it truly is a small world,,all of these powerful men brought low and the Org tossing them off like so much dirt. we left Seattle some years ago and now reside in Phoenix, Az. an have no regrets about leaving.

Yea that sounds like the Baxter I was talking about. while he served our circuit the PO from another cong. approached him and revealed that my daughter who went to their cong. had been involved in some wrongdoing and since she had recently moved back home she was now living under my roof. meaning of course I was responsible for everything [what nonsence] but thats what the book said. Well Baxter had an elder meeting and described exactly the situation w/o mentioning any names , well I was mortified as this body of elders was one bunch of mean sons of bitches except for the PO. dear Bro. Henderson,,he was a tall older black man who was not only kind but fearless as well probraly due to the fact that he professed to be of the annointed. well after the mtg. I went to him and explaned the situation. He looked at me and said Ho----s do you really want me to schedule that ,just let it go. Well it was like getting slapped, it woke me up and then I was angry that Baxter would do this ,at any rate that was the straw that finally started me looking at this 'most loving people'. 3 years later my wife and I had abandoned ship as they say.

Brother Baxter had high tastes when he came calling to the congs. but he ended up timed out due to age. No, no more green handshakes, no more freebies at best restaurants. Turning his nose up at the humble congs. offerings in the way of meals. Just remembering as I type this makes me do a slow burn.
It's not just them though, who now in their older years have nothing. it's all those who listened to these "Judas goats" preach against planning for a retirement or having a savings fund or getting an education so that you could have a job that payed well.
Anybody else have those stories?

A good one I remember was an experience at the DA where a brother gave his experience of his 4 sons who had been at Bethel at various times The CO made it sound like his sons were all currently at Bethel. This was done with malice aforethought you might say as I was in the same cong.knew the family well and also knew the CO,,,I had a monicker for him of Moon Dog for his self righteous baying so to speak. Anyway the truth of the matter was that of the 4 sons,one was still at Bethel.one was kicked out for reason unknown at that time ,on had just completed and left Bethel after 1 year and the other son had done his 4 and left Bethel a number of years before.
Fast forward 5 years and the son who had been there 15 years along with his wife was downsized and left with nothing,,they were earlier offered CO status in Latin America but choose to stay { lifetime Bethelite dont you know}. 45 years old and no skill had to come home to Mom as Dad had recently died.The youngest son hated Bethel and did 1 year in the laundry, he came home to the family Insurance.business which he eventually inherited,, later leaving the Org. One of the other 2 settled in Mississippi where theirextended roots were, Marriage 1 fell apart and thats the last I heard about him. The one who had been kicked out of Bethel was not allowed to come home for some time, eventually Mom arrainged a marriage and he settled in Washington State. He is a sometimes janitor after squandering his inheritance
When I hear these fake news stories that are manufactured by the Org. I always say , Where are they now?. or tell me the rest of the story.

Yes I know that but from what I was told there was no sex act. Just discussing it makes me angry. As a little girl al she wanted was a "daddy. The bastard took that from her as well.
Don't get me wrong I want my daughter to eventually remarry but I thought that only some form of intercourse would be allowable grounds for scriptural remarriage and evidentally this did not take place.
By the way as far as we are concerned she can marry anyone she wants without the WT bullshit rules for allowable remarriage. I was just thrown a curve by my daughters sayint that the WT has expanded porneia to include child abuse {in this case molestation} and that the elders had in fact said she was free to obtain a scriptural divorce.
