  Ah, yeah...

  These were the people following the Mosaic Law Covenant, whcih stated that an Israelite could beat their slave badly enough to lay the poor person up for 3 days, just so long as the slave didn't die...

  Ah - huh....

  Apparently these characters miss the fact that wild animals aren't all that submissive to humans - people are killed by snakes, bears, sharks, leopards, lions, tigers, jaguars, spiders, and many others are severely injured each year.

  Somehow, that doesn't sound like "every moving animal that is moving upon the earth" is submissive...

  The hypocrisy is painfully obvious... They'd rather that the rank&file Jehovah's Witness go into debt supporting THEM, instead of ensuring a comfortable life for the average Jehovah's Witness.

  hi guys over a week ago i started a post about the doantions the society is now asking witnesses as never before .this is the letter that was put on the notice board .i know conditional donation agreement is not a new thing .but this letter was send out of the blue ,no one asked for it and as long as i remember this arrangement it was something you have to ask bethel .notice also how a specific group of people istrargeted ,namely the elderly one with properties ,please let me have your feedback.

People are packed into crowded cities. Many have to manage with makeshift dwellings in shantytowns and city slums. Having a house of their own remains a mere dream for them.

  So that is the source of security, "a home of his own"? Quite a few people who had short sales or foreclosures of that secure place, might say something different...or one swept away in a storm and burnt to the ground or shaken to pieces.

  Not to mention that the Watchtower Society itself snatches such security from the mouths of its own followers by discouraging college, well-paying jobs and promotions...

  learning the truth about the watchtower society can be very painful for a number of reasons.

  first, it is so disconcerting to realize that the core of your existence and the foundations of your beliefs are false that it can throw you for a real loop.

  as witnesses we are so confident in all of the answers we have been given, to questions that we never asked, that we mentally put ourselves up on a pedestal above the masses of poor, blind, wicked humanity.

  there is a saying that goes .no man can for any considerable time wear one face to himself and another to the multitude, without getting bewildered as to which one is the true one...so do you find this to be true, when you have to wear a different face when you are among jws ..do you get tired of it all?.
