i was curious to hear what other believers understand about dinosaurs.

i know we have a few young earth creationists here.

i wondered what you understand about dinosaurs and when they existed, as well as hear from those that believe dinosaurs lived millions of years ago and how it fits into the bible..

no one has actually seen these huge rocks move along the flat, dry lake bed.

sometime, when no one's looking, usually after freezing weather or heavy wind or rain, the rocks up and scoot themselves leaving unmistakable travel grooves in their wake.

What being cheap costs us.. Fatal accident involving bus full of JWs

this happened about last week here in florida.

a bus carrying 32 jehovah's witnesses driven by a hired bus driver got lost on the way to west palm beach and crashed at the entrance of miami int'l airport.

dozens were injured and 2 passed away.

JW's Would Say This is Jehovah Reaching Out to Me

unless i am expecting a call about something medical with family or mechanical with the car, i am trying to get to the point where i let unknown callers on my cellphone just go to voicemail.

it's harder to just let it go when it's a local number because i figure it's someone i know, then i am usually wrong and it is just some sales call.. so i finally did it with this call.

my phone rang, i was busy.

Jehovah's Witnesses aren't the only ones who would make that claim, but you're right - mention this to any active JW and they'll use it as an opportunity to count time - er, 'encourage' you to return to "the fold".

Just out of curiosity, have you ever run that "shepherds don't safeguard the sheep for the sheeps' sake; they do it for the wool, milk and meat" thought past your JW relatives??

I thought about camping out in that area when we were in Death Valley... But after some consideration, I changed my mind. [Well, hubby didn't want to - what a wet blanket!!]

But, at the time, it took experienced 4-wheeling to get to that location - besides, who wants to camp out in an area where the wind is strong enough to move rocks?

We experienced enough of that wind while camping on Telescope Peak... wind

This could be viewed as another devastating result of the Watchtower Society's anti-education mentality...

Had they not avoided college educations due to the Watchtower Society's false predictions of "Armageddon", they would probably have made enough money thru their lives so that they could have traveled in safer transportation - not to mention, they would probably have had their 'critical thinking skills' developed so they would have checked the company's safety record prior to hiring one of their buses.
