NO SIGNS OF CANCER!
by Sunspot ini had the last in a series of tests and scans today and the verdict is that there are no signs of recurring cancer showing up!
needless to say, the day was very long (as has been this entire week) and i am still quite tired out.....but i am so relieved and so grateful that the healing hand of my precious savior has touched me once again.
he has blessed me.. thank you all for your loving prayers and your good wishes that have been so encouraging to me along the way.

Back around 1999, I attended the old Keon Park hall in Mahoney’s Road Reservoir (for all you locals). The hall was built on an easement that was prone to flooding every year or two, which meant the carpet was constantly being replaced by our insurance company.
Well we got approval for our brand new hall in Holt Parade Thomastown (again, for you locals) and 3 months before our quick build date, our old hall got completely flooded out. The local hall committee elders (3 congo’s shared the hall) in their wisdom took the insurance money that was given to replace the carpet and put it towards the new k/hall project! So for the next 4 months, we had to sit on bare concrete that was still musty and damp! Their words – “there is no point replacing carpet in a hall that we will not be using soon”. Never mind the health risks.
The hypocrites made the 3 congo’s put up with 3 rd world conditions so they could save a buck or two, how that glorified the house of God I will never know. All the parents with young children (who would normally sit on the floor) started murmuring about the stoopid decision and yes, were counselled for speaking out against an arrangement from Jehovah!

Hi Jayne, no, further south down in Melb. Though have passed through Gong a few times. There was a family there call the Ringels, Mum and 2 daughters, I hope that is the correct spelling. Used to hear some loony stories of the comings and goings up there. There was at least 2 congs from memory back in the mid 80's.
If you know the Ringel girls (Dianna & Anita) do you know what happened to them, where they are now?
Cheers, Mattieu.

What I did yesterday
by mrsjones5 ini had to do laundry and i'd found a small laundromat close by so i gathered as much stinky clothes as i could and headed on there.
when i arrived one person was just leaving and i had the whole place to myself.
one of the first things i noticed in the shabby little joint was the abundance of watchtower and awake rags.

Mrs Jones, I am sure this is a worldwide phenomenon, us Pioneers used to start and finish our time at a Laundromat! Apart from giving us long days in the field service, it used to boost our magazine placements! Funny thing is that none of us would go in when someone was using the Laundromat to put the magazines on the coffee tables. Mixture of fear of man & embarrassment.......
