just a question really and whilst i would not put it past them i sort of feel it is too 'conspiracy theory' for me.
are elders and bethelites officially sanctioned to lurk (or engage) in this or other sites to try to weedle out apostates?
does anyone have any direct experience of it happening?.
Hi Cognac,
He is definitely not an apostate, a career elder who loves to flush out the juicy stuff, df people and then brag about it.... Though he is doing a service, he has pushed a few people away from the borg..
Cheers, Mattieu
in 1980 a song was out on the radio called shaddap you face.
it was supposed to be a fun song mimicking italians saying what sounded like shut up a your face.. i remember having parents bringing their children to me for counsel because their kids would giggle and sing this song.
some jw parents thought it was a terrible song, disrespectful and ungodly.. i remember telling one hardline parent that i kind of thought the song was funny and that it might not be such a big deal.
Joe Dolce, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Dolce
A good Italian boy from Ohio who moved to Melbourne, it was number 1 here in Oz as well and yes the JW's here viewed it as a rebellious song and us christian kids should change the radio when it came on!
I drive past the club in Brunswick where he first perfomed that song quite often...
Cheers, mattieu..

Yes they do here in Australia. I know of two elders, one an ex bethel elder now an elder in the burbs and his partner in crime who is now a c/o who actively search this site looking for people like me that they know and want to oust. I discovered this site when I was working with elder #1 and saw this site on his computer. I could name them, pm me if you want details....
Summed up perfectly by JWFreak
Don't mix up the the seemingly old and daft GB with the powerful legal dept
Cheers, Mattieu..
i would like to start my 1st post by saying thank you.
to the site itself and to all the posters.
my story begins with me meeting the woman of my dreams 4 years ago.
Hi SF, Hello and Welcome! I hope it works out for you and your wife, sounds like an interesting way to handle the situation in presenting written arguments! If logic and reason prevail, she will see the truth about the truth!
And a big shout out to you as well LI, welcome.
Cheers, Mattieu
Hi Seenitall, nice to have you onboard, look forward to hearing more from you.
Cheers, Mattieu...
i'm mostly here to meet new like minded friends.
growing up in the religion has jaded my perspective.
most of my believes the wts is bs, but there is that part in the back of my mind that fears they have the truth.

Hi Jeremy,
Welcome aboard!!
every time i hear the following song by elton john, i have to pull over and shed a tear or two or twenty and think of all the other people like me who lost a brother whose name was daniel.... my brother daniel would have turned 40 today august 6 (southern hemisphere time).. i sadly lost daniel when i was 5 and he was 4 .... i still have vivid memories and photographs, yet sadly due to the religion that is called the jehovahs witnesses have not yet fully grieved or coped with my younger brothers death in a road accident.
i have never spoken to anyone outside my family about daniels death as i was raised up with the view that as a young person i would witness any day now the resurrection of my dear little brother.
not a week goes by when i do not visit his gravesite at fawkner cemetary looking for closure or the fact that i may never see him in the new system.
Thanks Cant Leave, Blues Brothers (nice advice, and a shame about the tacticts they use...) & Golden Sky (will pm you when I get to Spain!)
I feel for you too Heaven
PSacramento, thanks for such comforting words.

Yan, Daniel is a beautiful name, we are both fortunate to have a brother by that name... I hope things become less distant between you and your Daniel, for whatever the reason... Let me know how things work out..... Life really is precious, thank you for the reminder. Right back at you....
Snowbird, I always appreciate your posts and comments though do not always get the time to express my appreciation. Your hug was felt down here.... Cheers, Matty...
