  An update- Saw GI doc and he was appalled my Endo had told me to take laxatives everyday. He prescribed LINZESS which is used for IBS with constipation. A previous drug, Zelnorm, was taken off the market a few yrs ago. So far this is working. I hope to be able to get back on the Victoza instead of the Bydureon. It is not controlling the blood sugars . So one more brick in the wall. I hope a month from now to be somewhat stable on these meds. I am so exhausted and drained from having to take large doses of laxatives daily( this at my endo's order). My pharmacist said find another doc and I just may do that. Thank goodness for the GI doc.

  Does anyone remember the article which mentioned that many non-jws would survive armageddon?

  i seem to think it was a november wt issue but can't remember precisely, but it was probably printed within the last three years.

  after being told for years and years that everyone not a jw would be destroyed, this was amazing to see in print!

  yet when i pointed it out to others, they just shrugged it off and left me wondering what i was missing.... does this ring a bell with anyone?.

  If any statement close the that were ever made it would just be a CYA. They fall back on that so they don't have to answer the question " so are you saying only jws will survive Armageddon"? No Jehovah makes those decisions. PURE CYA.

  HOME SCHOOL and the upcoming generation of scientifically illiterate kids

  when i worked for a book store i became familiar with beka text books for home school.. i spoke with the mothers who came looking for them.

  i realized something didn't smell right.. then, i realized there are a couple of generations of fundamentalist kids who have had no exposure.

  to the scientific method, science facts or any conversancy with physics or biology or history as a result of beka textbooks.. in a nutshell here is the situation:.

  School has been dumbed down for many years. My gdgt's we're not taught cursive. The school felt it was not necessary anymore. I was appalled and we are trying to help them learn. They seem content to not worry about it as their teacher said they didn't need to. When they were in K-1 they learned very little. Half of the kids did not speak English. We were outraged and my DIL moved our girls to a different school after that. It was an eye-opening experience for us.

  to go along with this video if you look closely at any cover of the latest wt or aw magazines you will always find (if you take your time) a pyramid or triangle in some shape or form even if it is not completely symmetrical, check it out on the jw website.

  also virtually all kingdom hall exteriors will have a pyramid or triangle shaped roof, take a look at your local hall or google kingdom halls.

  Here is a wiki page about spiritualism type churches. It traces their beginnings in USA to around 1848. Mostly the upper class was involved, as with anything else they have more time to wile away. Russell comes from this era, he is just a product of it. Most of the end time religions got started around this time, including what would become jws.

  there is something all too familiar about it, something that sickens the stomach and reminds us how low and prejudiced evil minds can go.. those who divide humans up in order to weaken and conquer them will stop at nothing if not counterfeit reasoning to justify their evil.. .

  the arguments made in the past and the arguments made in the present have a familiar ring to them and the false clanger is a note of warning!.

  I am stuck on the depression, looking for something to feel close to God again and occ. worries that the jws might be right. However as a householder ( ugh that term) once told me ( paraphrase) If the jws are the ones to survive after Armageddon, I'd rather be dead. I was a bit taken aback at the time but Get it now. If they are right, just shoot me . I could never live among them. I hear that song " If loving you is wrong, I don't want to be right".
