in another thread the question of whether or not the wt$ would "outright lie" was raised.. i happen to believe that they would in a heartbeat, although i agree that their preference is for sneaky misleading statements as opposed to outright lies.

regardless, here's a short list of some of what i consider incontrovertible evidence that yes, the wt$ would outright lie.. .

They make great race cars. A co-worker has one just like that with Nitrous and the whole works. Its really fast. Tough to work on but when they're right its alot of fun.

Since Leaving The "Truth" Have You Been Naughty or Nice?

i was raised in it.

for the most part i was an exemplary jw.

i'm a very social fun loving person.

A few years after I left I was very naughty. I got into some hard core drugs, stole a lot (cars, trucks, other items) robbed banks, stole identies. I was someone you DEFINATELY wouldn't want to upset or mess with or I'd show up at your door with a bunch of guys and firearms. (Which I actually did one time.) I was on the run from the police for over a year, they finally caught me while I was being chased by 20 squad cars, two helicopters, and the swat team. My wife and I hid by living on the hot streets of Phoenix, Az for nine months strait. I've now paid all my debts. You can now find me helping out neighbors, donating to outreach centers for the homeless, making wholesome freinds, contributing to the community, conducting neighborhood watch programs, and being a excellent husband and father to my family.

i was thinking about if i should start telling my 2 year old about santa claus.

after realizing that i've been lied to my whole life from all the jw bullcrap should i lie to my child about santa claus?

do you think its ok to say, "be good or santa wont bring you any toys this christmas.

I love this web site and all of you have such amazing and real answers. I think I will carry on the teaching of Santa to make Christmas more magical for my son. In the future when he questions it I will explain to him that there was a man, who now is named Santa Claus who did give gifts, rode in a sleigh and gave gifts to children. Though those people he see's in the mall are not the real Santa they are carrying the tradition that Santa once had and makes it special for all the children. Sounds good right?

I was thinking about if I should start telling my 2 year old about Santa Claus. After realizing that I've been lied to my whole life from all the JW Bullcrap should I lie to my child about Santa Claus? Do you think its OK to say, "Be good or Santa wont bring you any toys this Christmas." I really want him to have a NORMAL life. Does this include making him think Santa comes down the chimney and gives toys to all the good children? My wife says,"YES, it is normal for a child to believe in Santa." What are your thoughts?

My JW sister's daughter is getting into trouble. What can I do to help?

my sister is a jw.

her daughter who is 15 has decided a long time ago not to join her in being a jw.

(way to go) unfortunately, she's been getting into a lot of trouble lately.
