  do you think people are smarter today than people living in the 1980's?

  sometimes i wish there was internet back in the 80's.

  if there was no internet today, i would probably be attending the kingdom hall again regularly, probably reaching out to be ms again then eventually become an elder sometime down the road.

  a bunch of blank congregation checks from when i filled in as the account servant many years ago.

  and, i can copy the po's signature pretty well - lol .

  if it wasn't illegal i would make out $1.00 checks to the salvation army, catholic church, homeless shelter (then they would be giving to charity - oh my) .

  I wouldn't do that. I went through hell after my wife and I robbed banks through check fraud. To this day I'm still not allowed to have a bank acount.

  A couple months ago I was driving up a hill in Palm Springs and my car got hot. But didn't overheat ended up being a radiator with low flow. What kind of car do you have and what are the symptoms? Maybe I can help.

  The elders and the org. never helped me when I was in need, so what makes you think you can give this guy what he needs? It sounds like he was in need of finacial problems. When have you ever heard of the JW's helping out anyone outside the org? If you couldn't get him to convert you wouldn't care, you would just think, "Oh well, he'll just die in armageddon anyway."

  I think that within the organization there are more mental disorders, wheather it be bi-polar, depression, post tramatic stress disorder, ect. I'm sure if examined the percenteage of witnesses with SERIOUS mental problems would be huge.

  When I was a JW I found myself thinking of taking my life. The ONLY thing that saved me was realizing that this was not the lifestyle I wanted to live. After comming to the conclusion that it was to the point where I would kill myself if I continued to be a JW or live as an outsider to all my family and friends I chose the later. JW's are not worth my life. So to answer your question I would definately not recommend giving him your "goodnews"

  A Smurf walked out of the Kingdom Hall

  when i was a kid, i'm guessing 5 or 6 years old.

  the "smurfs are demonized" rumors started spreading around.

  after a few weeks of hearing that and having to throw away all my smurf toys, i was at the kingdom hall and a sister came in with a bookbag with a big picture of a smurf on it!

  this is no way a lie, i'm sitting here typing on my laptop, and a big group of smurfs walked through my garden, over the fence into the next garden all speaking in a demonic way, anyone else seen this phenonima?.

  We already discussed this on another topic. We concluded that the WT instills fears in us to the extent that it becomes real to us. First class brainwashing at its finest.
