  Hidden Abuse Under Watchtower

  the center for investigative journalism whose website is now called revealnews.org, has an entire section on stories being investigated by their staff and others on how the watchtower is handling child abuse cases.. "the jehovah’s witnesses have systematically instructed leaders to keep child sexual abuse secret from law enforcement and members of their own congregations.

  please share you thoughts on this issue because i really would like to know when the governing body and their lawyers are going to properly address this issue because i can't worship in a place that allows dangerous men in, that's what they accused the catholic church of doing and now here it is that they are caught doing the same thing but have not expressed any concern for the victims.

  Circuit visit elders meeting

  historically the elders meeting with the circuit overseer has had the following format : outline for meeting including ministerial servants then, after they have been dismissed, discussion of local issues.

  the last visit there was an additional outline for the elders only, the notorious "gender blurring" discussion.. you might wonder what is being discussed this time round, so here you are:.

  my lovely wife warned me from the upper floor: close the windows, brother x is at the front door.

  so, there they are again, for their required visit before the memorial.

  i don't like it, you never hear from them, only in the week before the memorial.

  Maybe you should call them on it. Open the door and say "Hey, it must be Memorial time again. You guys did this last year, and the year before that. Do you have a checklist or something? Listen, I am not only 100% NOT interested in this, I really don't like your shallow attempt at showing 'love'. Shove off and never come back."

  l have a problem with this.lf adam and eve didnt sin the earth would eventually have been full to the brim with perfect human beings.then what every man gets the chop or no more sex?then on the other hand we have the jw's sayingresurrected ones will not be allowed to marry in the earthly new system.. married survivors of armageddon will remain married.

  single survivors of armageddon may or may not be allowed to marry.so it seems that people reborn into new system wont be able to procreate.

  and married survivors will stay married so l assume that means they can still hanky panky and have babys thats a bit unfair..the earth can only accommodate a maximum number of humans then what for the married couples.

  they come in and have thee nerve to ask me to step out so they can speak to pops!!!!

  this is the good part.....pops says...and i quote " whatever needs to be said..can be said in front of my son".

  Hey brandnew, that's quite a drop. Is this because people are leaving or have gotten too old or passed away or a combo of these?

  I know you'll protect him and I'm glad you'll check into what the law says about 'elder abuse'. Is there any time you'll be away where he'll be left on his own or is the plan now for him to always visit with family or have someone else there with him if you are away?

  Is it time to get the legal authorities involved, brandnew?

  Edited to add: In Ontario, Canada, this is illegal. It's called 'elder abuse' and the police don't take kindly to people doing this to the elderly.

  Happy Pi Day

  tomorrow is march 14 (3.14), so its known as pi day, to honour the all-important constant.. incidentally, the bible has been criticized by mathematicians because the scriptures give a very poor value of pi.. the scripture is based on 1kings 7: 23 and reads as follows:.

  "and he proceeded to make the molten sea ten cubits from its one brim to its other brim, circular all around; and its height was five cubits, and it took a line of thirty cubits to circle all around it".

  now that shape is actually mathematically impossible to construct, because if the diameter is 10 cubits, the circumference would have to be 31.4159 cubits.
