  the wts usually says the devils main and sometimes only target are the anointed remnant and the other sheep are collateral damage because of their association with them..

  WTwizard.... It's the wt using the same tricks thieves and magicians use of misdirection.

  Why do they not focus on the miserable failings within the organisation, put that in the yearbook, instead of picking on the seemingly few "exemplary" ones since they recognize the bible writters were honest and recorded good and the bad.

  According to wikipedia misdirection..

  is a form of deception in which the attention of an audience is focused on one thing in order to distract its attention from another. "The central secret of conjuring...is a manipulation of interest." (Henry Hay, The Amateur Magicians Handbook, pg. 2, copyright 1972).

  
  Your comment. I think most of my problems would have been solved or prevented had Satan and His Demons been with me through my life.

  I just couldn't find a paragraph where I could comment on during the meetings without raising suspicions. So infuriating to hear misguided comments!

  Had done researsch on Demas.... He wasn't the only one who forsook Paul,

  2Tim1:15 "all the men in the( district of) Asia have turned away from me. Phygelus and Hermogenes are of this number."

  However so what, did Demas also forsake Christ? That scripture and others of Paul's letters would have been more specific if it was ment to be understood by readers thousands of years later thus avoiding wt's and followers unchecked conclusions about it.

  Pride? Materialism? Our wt conducter had been accused of fraud and found out only last year by a bible student. Still has his privileges. I noticed how that was not touched on during the materialism part...

  The Fraud topic was also skipped during the bible study material two week ago (Draw Close page 268) where again it was mentioned how it affects one having privileges. It's like ignore it and everyone will forget soon enough.

  Thanks blondie. Looking foward to your comments for next weeks article. "They saw things promised" by whom? Whose imaginary pictures are we going to be told to fantasize on as reality?

  I can't help feeling sorry for the old ones pictured in the coming study articles.

  Had my Hopes up for this Regional Convention

  heard a lot buzz for our upcoming convention.

  those that already been were saying how great it was and all the videos that were presented.. well, thus far not impressed!

  in fact many times pure insanity!

  Once more they have failed to deliver.

  Ours is still ahead in the coldest month of the year! Someone didn't think it through. But its a social club only bigger. Perhaps giving the single ones more chances to dress their best to meet, mingle and get a mate without the congregational medler's attention. We won't have videos either as it has even been difficult to have witness broadcast at the hall.

  Looking forward... Not.!!

  Hi MarieK, welcome! I beat you in posting by a few weeks and it's great to be here. You will feel free to express your thoughts, doubts, rant and so on. Even as we now grow in our research we can still express our views, changes in thoughts, questioning as we go on. Yes am still in, by outward appearances still an elder for a short while. Phew I don't have to lie to the gullible from the platform again, but living a lie.

  The lion king mufasa in today's WT?

  i don't know how to post it on here perhaps someone will help?.

  i swear its straight out of the lion king, the scene were scar throws mufasa into the stampede "long live the king" that scene.. i wonder how many jw kids will be picking up on this today?

  Yes. Thought the same and showed it to some kids who were quick to see it too.

  And yes we still do watch movies... It's a classic here.

  Once more they have shown no originality in their art work... Not the first time they've copied and pasted. Perhaps too much brain washing has killed the artists' imagination skill.

  honestly, they really have nothing going for them except that they are in an exclusive club.

  they are in a better place than anyone else.

  they have it over everyone else because of their superiority.

  No indept comments during the meeting from most, but after the meetings you hear their voices trying to catch up on the latest. Not single comment about what the meeting was about.

  As time goes on you have to do more to "fit in" then when hard times hit or old age, and your useless, where the club? Where are my pips at?

  Lol. Left the meetings right after the congregation bible study in hopes to hear the anticipated broadcast, didnt know they had rescheduled it. Please keep us posted. I would love a download link it if possible.
