by highdose ini remember asking a uber dub i was on the fs with " if you were the hh would you want to know more after listening to your presentation?
" she addmitted that no, she wouldn't have wanted to listen further.. so basicly the fs is really quite useless?
the jws doing it mostly have neither the skills nor interest to make a hh want to listen.

They appear to look down on the YECs. I've had several JWs who I've talked to about evolution recently, when I refer to JWs as "Creationists", declare "We aren't Creationists, Creationists are dumb and believe that the earth was actually created 6,000 years ago LOL @ Creationists" - at which point I have to explain that is a straw man invented by the WTS, and not ALL Creationists are YECs, just as not all people who accept evolution subscribe to punctuated equilibrium. Then their eyes kind of glaze over and they're like "Yeah but the WTS says we're not creationists".
It's tough to have a conversation with people when you're not even speaking the same language.

by zeroday* inok so i thought i would give it a chance and watch some of the world cup...i got thru about 5 minutes when i had to turn it off...i mean really what's with the constant horn blowing....

I don't like the ties either. I think they should adopt something similar to hockey's overtime rules, where both teams get a point but you play a short period of man-short hockey, then if noone scores move to a shootout to see who gets the victory points.
I think ties go away in the next round?

I don't like soccer, but I think if you can't watch and appreciate the world cup you just don't have an eye for good competition.
Someone needs to stab the ref from today's USA-SLV match though.

I'm suprised they left out all those evil babies.
Until babies learn how to gamble, buy sports cars, and do...whatever it is that those two guys in the lower right hand corner are doing...I think Jesus will spare them somehow.
