I'm guessing from the charts on jwfacts.com and a ruler that it was '77 or '78. It's really hard to tell from those tiny graphs, unfortunately.
UPDATE: It was 1977 according to this thread.

Is this a real quote?
Ha ha, no.. I was just mocking their prediciment and non-compliance with the bible's instruction for baptism.

you count 10 hours per month but havn't even mentioned your beliefs to a non-dub in years.. you underline your study articles at random and write fake notes in the margins.. you smoke joints to get through meetings, field service and assemblies.. you're secretly banging an elder's wife.. you stuff monopoly money in the contribution box.. you keep your eyes open during prayer and giggle.. when everyone else says "amen" at the end of a prayer, you whisper "what bullshit.".
you have a copy of crisis of conscience in a box buried in your back yard.. you play with an ouija board and watch smurf cartoons when no one is around.. you think "thriller" was the great music video ever made.. you read comic books in the kingdom hall bathroom during meetings.
when questioned about your long time spent in the bathroom, you whisper "i'm constipated.
Fun, but I'm all the way out. Is there a "how apostate are you" quiz? I'd like to know my score on that one..

They're still working on ways to creatively interpret the data.
"While at first glance it may appear that the number of partakers is on the rise, the number of genuine anointed who partake directed by holy spirit clearly is not. Many of these new partakers were no-doubt baptised after the year 1985, and thus, were never baptized in the name of the holy spirit. How then, therefore, could they be legitimately directed by the Holy Spirit, if they were never baptized with it?"
Cue a new complex baptism arrangement with seperate instructions for 'little flock' and 'other sheep' baptisms, where nobody except relatives/close friends of the GB is granted a second-tier 'little flock' baptism.

PS: They've done stranger things, for certain.
by the way, go to www.peopledata.com and put loser in the search in your state, you can call them to find out what they are doing.
Wow. It really worked. Those poor people.

Let me guess... Modern Warfare 2. All my friends have been bitten by that bug this week.
- Lime
Fine. I'll go poke fun at the creationists on youtube some more. Sheesh.
- Lime
Oh come on! I'll be your lightning rod of hate!

Well, I'll bite. Personally I ported a resource management system (the system that loads textures, fonts, and 3D meshes) from an experimental 3D engine I developed to a more stable version, so that I could take advantage of the enhanced multi-core functionality while maintaining the older, feature-rich toolset. The process has taken about 22 hours so far, but the hard work is staring to pay off.
I still have a lot of work to go before I complete this development iteration, but things are comming right along, and I have professional customers very interested in this technology, as well as some of my others (my procedural tree system is of particular interest).
So, I told you what this 'loser' does late on a friday night. Now it's your turn, John. Do tell, what did you do tonight?

PS: Sorry if I'm a little testy.. I just find it ironic that someone who's posted on this board over 13 thousand times considers people here 'losers'.
i hate the watchtower.
and the governing body are the lowest lifeforms ever to crawl out of the devil's anus.
but the world really is no better & neither are ex-jdubs, despite their character building experience.. the watchtower and all other religions are pointless scumbag rackets.
If you can't pay, the hospital should have someone whose function is to find a way to pay for patients who can't afford it. I forget what that office is called -- Patient Support or something like that. Does anyone know how that works? Please sign in if you do.
It depends on the hospital. I once wound up in the emergency room right after losing a job (no income, no insurance), and had no way to pay the $4000 bill they handed me for one injection and the use of their bed for 4 hours.
I applied for their financial support, described my situation, and suddenly $4000 became $70. All you have to do is talk to the hospital adminstration and they'll point you in the right direction.
