One of my favorites is human chromosome #2... but for anyone who honestly wants to know more:

And of course, there's lots of good information on the internet.
From the WT, we get "Life - Where did it come from? By Evolution or by Creation?" Evolution is NOT a theory regarding the origin of life. So by asking the question "Where did it come from, Evolution or by Creation", the Watchtower shows it's ignorance on the subject matter, and/or intellectual dishonesty. The newer books are little better, relying on sleight of hand to distract the audience from the details of the topic at hand with appeals to authority, emotion, and ignorance. Ideas on the origin of life abound, but as a singular event in the history of the planet, scientists willingly acknowledge they do not have enough evidence at this time to put forth a single theory.
That is not to say, however, that Scientists are not aware of possible origins - but that when science cannot say for sure, it admits it. (Unlike the random pseudo-explainations the WT throws out without discression each month, and then qualifies with the use of weasle-words such as 'evidently'.)
Here is one hypothosis:

Evidence for evolution abounds, for those willing and mentally able to seperate facts from wants and superstition. Do you know the methodology behind radiometric dating? If you inist that radiometric dating is wrong, where exactly is the error in the equations radiometric dating is based upon?

Nobody should be coerced or have facts hidden from them. If you are a JW, can you honestly say you've independently researched the facts of evolution, outside the publications of a biased religious publishing company? Have you read both sides, learned what the 'big scary words' mean? Have you taken the time to learn the 'language of life' - biochemistry - so that you are well equipped to determine if bio-organisms fit the pattern you'd expect from evolution vs. creation?"
To know truth - to come to a real understanding of the world requires a life-long commitment to education. The world is complex - far too complex to be summed up in a single book - nor is understanding it something you should 'outsource' to a single publishing company like the Watchtower. Each year, science produces whole libraries documenting instances of specialization and the latest evidence for evolution - and yet intellectually lazy people would like to believe they can read a single book and have all the facts.
