  i was just thinking that if charles taze russell were alive today he wouldn't even recognize the religion he started.

  in fact, many of the things he did are now disfellowshippable offenses.

  for instance, he had a christmas tree in the bethel home and he wore a beard.

  it was reported that the taliban beat, with long rods any man caught with out the proscribed type of beard.

  the jws ,with a smile, simply discriminate against a male with out the mandatory clean face.

  i wonder what would happen if the elders had similar power as the taliban had ?.
